2 HOS* 34 Hour Reset Change Reverts back pre-july 2013 rules. Drivers no longer need two consecutive periods of off-duty time between 1AM-5AM. Drivers are not restricted to take only one 34-hour reset within a 168 hour period. Oregon Intrastate HOS Rules When configured in the Connect web portal, the in-cab device will calculate Hours of Service timers according to Oregon 7-Day, Oregon 8-Day, Oregon 7-Day/US 7-Day, and Wisconsin Intrastate HOS Rules Oregon 8-Day/US 8-Day rules. When configured in the Connect web portal, the in-cab device will calculate Hours of Service timers according to Wisconsin 7-Day and Wisconsin 8-Day rules. N/A (Change not visible to driver) Click the HOS icon on the Home Menu Click the HOS icon on the Home Menu Fuel Purchase Entry Additional Information Captured with HOS Current Total Records The in-cab device now features an interface to manually enter fuel purchase information for fuel-tax filing purposes. The device now captures the following fields as a part of each Hours of Service Current Total Record: Co-driver, Trailers, Bill of Ladings, Carrier Name, Carrier DOT Number HOS > Options > Fuel Purchase > Add Fuel Purchase > Select Fuel Purchase Location > Enter Zip Code, Current Location, Manual), then enter information about the purchase (Authority, Date, Fuel, Gallons, Total Sale, Payment (Method)) N/A (Change not visible to driver) 1

In order to log in, the driver enters their Driver ID as they normally would, after which they are prompted to enter their password. Note: This feature is off by default and must be enabled in the Connect web portal. The in-cab device can now be configured to prompt the driver for the appropriate authority. When configured for MOA and operating authorities are defined, a list of operational authorities comes up after the driver enters their Driver ID. If a driver wants to select another authority besides the ones that are shown on the device, they can select Other Authority and manually enter the carrier name. Allows drivers working under multiple operating authorities to select the operating authority under a specific carrier for which they are working after logging into the device. The in-cab device can now be configured so that drivers can only log on to devices that they've been approved to use. The in-cab device now supports the ability to transfer a driver s current duty cycle from one Driver ID to another, when used by the same driver, under different companies. This enables a driver to consolidate his/her logs into one set when driving for more than one company. Note that a driver may have a different Driver ID for each company. 4 Other Device Support for Enabling or Disabling Wi-Fi Hard Brake count now visible in Trip Report GPS-generated speed now captured with Hard Brake events Scanning support now available for TND 760 devices When configured in the Connect web portal, the Wi-Fi functionality of the in-cab devices in the selected company can be enabled or disabled. Hard brake events are now included in Trip Detail records (visible via the Trip Report in the Connect web portal). The GPS-generated speed is now captured with hard-brake events. This is helpful to accurately detect speed if the wheels have locked up on a truck, which would happen if the vehicle were skidding on ice. The release enables fleets to implement an in-cab scanner with TND 760 devices. For more information about implementing scanning, contact your Rand McNally Field Support representative. 3
