6 Use Cases Page6 EEBL (Emergency Electronic Brake Light) and MAI (Motorcycle Approaching Indication) are based on vehicle-to-vehicle communication and demonstrated at closed parking named as Safety Area.

8 Connection between C2C and TT Page8 On public road, all use cased are based on road side information ( i.e. V2I based use cases) Road side infrastructure is provided by TT. Messages for C2C are translated from TPEG format which is used by TT. Message adaptation (translation) was key of this collaboration demo, and lot of time was spent. Finally, TT road side units and C2C vehicles were connected well.

12 Passengers Page12 Excepting VIP/Press day, the total number of passengers were 931 (registration base). 13 Passenger s Feedback Page13 On the whole, there are no negative comment V2V based safety use cases got more favorable reception than public road, because these tell them invisible (hard to see) information in advance. - When get explanation for MAI, I thought no need for me. However, I change my mind after the demo to see invisible situation. Situations to get passengers sympathize : - Information of changing time of traffic signal from red to green - Traffic signal information according turn lever operation - Toll road information before approaching the road - Speed over warning before to change limitation

14 Some results from the Demo Page14 Standard proved: - Interoperability between different projects, suppliers and OEMs. - Different vehicles and RSUs can speak same language. Good appeal of valuable ITS features: - Demonstration of system in real traffic condition - Demonstration of system in aiming situation Gather stability issues of system under difficult conditions: - Under congested communication

15 Some results from the Demo Page15 Position accuracy is affecting the result of the applications running on top of the system. Congestion control become essential when number of vehicles increases high channel load! Recognized importance of priority control for both of application and message dealing Recognized difficulty of RSU layout arrangement: - Compatibility of effectiveness and connectivity
