4 26 To correctly adjust Trilax. Over-all Seating Comfort Trilax s unique triple pivot point technology assures synchronic motion which follows your every movement, or can be comfortably locked in any position. Regardless of the chosen seat height position, Trilax is softly sprung. Upper Backrest The separate upper back panel provides perfect support to the shoulder area even in locked position. Seat Height With the right lever (viewed from your seated position) you can adjust seat height: Pull up the lever then release as soon as seat surface is at the desired height.

5 To correctly adjust Trilax. 27 The 3 Pivot Points The first pivot point controls seat tilt and assures that your feet remain in contact with the floor. The second pivot point regulates seat depth and pelvis tilt in the lumbar area. The third pivot point supports your back while allowing complete freedom of movement. Seat and Back Tilt With the left lever you can choose between synchronic motion or a locked position. Pull the lever up and release: The mechanism is now locked. Repeat this procedure and lean back slightly: Trilax is now free to follow your every movement. Weight Adjustment With the tension control lever located beneath the seat, you can adjust Trilax to your exact weight: Turn the lever toward «plus» (+) to increase tension. Turn toward «minus» (-) to reduce tension.

6 28 Proper Care of Trilax. All mechanical and movable parts of Trilax, as well as all dyed-through polyurethane parts are low maintenance. For dry cleaning, soiled cushions can easily be removed and replaced by hand no tools are required. Nappa leather: Clean occasionally with diluted soapy water. Wipe off with clean water. Allow to dry well and polish with a woollen cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents or polishes! For usage on carpeting it is recommended that you periodically clean/remove carpet fibers which can collect around caster wheels. Operating instructions animation. 7 A Word about Safety. 29 The construction of Trilax is based on international safety standards and requirements, as well as years of Girsberger know-how in seating technology. All synthetic parts are durable, as well as scratch and split resistant. The pneumatic spring set must not be exposed to heat or opened by force. Work on or replacement of the pneumatic springs must be done by qualified, trained technicians only. Trilax is equipped with casters for carpeting. Soft casters for hard flooring recognizable by a colored ring are available upon request. Tested according to EN 1335
