QUESTION 1 SOALAN 1 Pneumatic system is a system that uses compressed air to transmit and control energy. State FOUR (4) uses of compressed air in daily life. Sistem pneumatik adalah sistem yang menggunakan udara termampat untuk memindahkan dan mengawal tenaga. Senaraikan EMPAT (4) penggunaan udara mampat dalam kehidupan seharian. By using the block diagram, list SIX (6) elements in a pneumatic system. Dengan menggunakan gambarajah blok, senaraikan ENAM (6) elemen yang terdapat di dalam sistem pneumatik. 4 QUESTION 3 SOALAN 3 The use of diverting device parts are to move the pallete from one conveyor track to another conveyor track. By pressing a push button switch the frame of the diverting device is pushed forward. The part is moved over and transported onwards in the opposite direction. By pressing another push button switch, the frame is returned to its start position. Penggunaan peranti pengalihan akan dapat memindahkan palet dari satu penghantar trek ke trek penghantar lain. Dengan menekan suis butang tekan peranti pengalihan akan ditolak ke hadapan. Barang bergerak ke sebelah dan diangkut terus dalam arah yang bertentangan. 5 QUESTION 4 SOALAN 4 State a difference between hydraulic pump and hydraulic motor. Nyatakan satu perbezaan antara pam hidraulik dengan motor hidraulik. Spool type of directional control valve is one of the most important components of the hydraulic system. With a labeled sketch, explain how the function of spool type of directional control valve. Injap kawalan arah jenis kekili ialah komponen yang terpenting dalam sistem hidraulik. Dengan lukisan berlabel, terangkan bagaimanakah fungsi injap kawalan arah jenis kekili tersebut. 7 QUESTION 6 SOALAN 6 State FIVE (5) characteristics of hydraulic fluid. Nyatakan LIMA (5) sifat bendalir hidraulik. [5 marks] [5 markah] The types of fluid in hydraulic systems are synthetic and water base hydraulic fluid. State FOUR (4) disadvantages of using them in the hydraulic system. Jenis bendalir yang digunakan dalam sistem hidraulik adalah bendalir hidraulik jenis sintetik dan jenis air. Nyatakan EMPAT (4) kelemahan penggunaannya dalam sistem hidraulik. Hydraulic systems can be very simple or very complex. Most of the problems encountered by these systems are often traced down to a few basic issues.
