It is the sole responsibility of the user to ensure the suitability of the Frame Lock for his or her own use, and shall assume all legal, personal injury risk and liability and all other obligations, duties and risks associated therewith. SAFE INSTALLATION AND OPERATION RULES: Before installing any part of your new Frame Lock it is your responsibility to read and understand the installation instructions. It is also the user s responsibility to follow the safe installation instructions. Do not smoke near the vehicle or while installing the Frame Lock. Gasoline and fumes from the vehicle can be highly flammable. If the motorcycle has been running, wait until engine and exhaust pipes have cooled to avoid getting burned during the installation steps. Read all instructions thoroughly, paying attention to any special notes, so that all installation steps are understood. Contact DRM Industries Corp. immediately with any questions or if anything appears or seems abnormal prior to installing or using your Frame Lock. Consult an appropriate service manual for your motorcycle for any procedure that would require any disassembly and reassembly to facilitate installation. Use good judgment when performing installation and operating of a motorcycle. Good judgment begins with a clear head. Don t let alcohol, drugs or fatigue impair your judgment. Start any installation when you are fresh. WARRANTY: All Frame Lock parts are guaranteed to the original purchaser to be free of manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Any part that fails to conform will be repaired or replaced at the option of DRM. In the event that warranty work is required, the original purchaser must call or write immediately to report the problem. If the problem can be corrected via phone no further action will be needed. If a part must be returned for warranty, do not return it to the point of purchase it must be returned to DRM at the address above. Ensure that the parts are packaged properly to ensure not further damage could occur. A copy of the original invoice or original receipt, along with a written description of the problem or circumstances at the time of failure. After evaluation has been made by DRM and the part(s) are found to be defective, repair, replacement, or refund will be granted. ADDITIONAL WARRANTY PROVISIONS: DRM shall have no obligation in the event of any part of the Frame Lock being modified, improper installation, lack of maintenance, mistreatment, misuse, abuse, or neglect. The Frame Lock is model specific and DRM will hold no obligation if it is used in any other unpublished application.

2 FRAME LOCK CLAMPS & PIN BRACKET INSTALLATION For Harley-Davidson Touring Models 1-Installation starts on the right (carburetor) side of the motorcycle with the two hole frame clamp. 2-Loosen the clamp that holds wires to the frame. 3-Measure 7⅛ - 7 ½ from the transmission cross member and feed the two-hole top clamp (rounded profile) in place. NOTE: 09 Touring should measure 3 3 ½ Please note that all measurements are approximate. Use good judgment on all fitments to avoid damage or unwanted wear. 4 Install the bottom clamp and two included socket head screw snug, but not tight at this time. 5 Measure the same distance from the transmission cross member (7⅛ to 7 ½ ) as you did on the carburetor side of the bike and install the four-hole top clamp (rounded profile). Install the bottom clamp snug but not tight at this time. Mark the position of the bracket (both sides of the bike) at this time.

3 For Harley-Davidson Dyna Models 1-Both sides of the Dyna installation are the same. 2-Install the large side of the clamp to the inside of the frame. 3-Position the clamp (left and right) with 1⅛ forward of space between the front of the cross member and the rear clamp. 4-Install the clamp with the socket head screws snug but not tight. 5-Move to step 6 and continue installation. For Harley-Davidson Softail Models 1-The ¾ round clamp mounts on the right (carburetor) side of the motorcycle. 2-Position the clamps with 1 ¾ of space between the cross member and the rear of the clamps. 3-Remember the large portion of the clamp is mounted to the inside of the frame. 4-Install the clamp with the socket head screws snug but not tight. 5-Move to step 6 and continue installation. For Harley-Davidson Sportster Models 1-The notched clamp is on the right (throttle) side. 2-The large side of the clamp is mounted towards the outside of the frame. 3-There needs to be 2⅜ between the cross member and the back side of the clamp. If you have to remove the wiring harness clips, they can be mounted in the holes drilled on the top of the Frame Lock clamps 4-Install the clamp with the socket-head screws snug but not tight. 5-Move to step 6 and continue the installation

4 6 - Mount the Pin Bracket securely with the hex bolts provided. This will level the clamps. 7 - Remove the Pin Bracket and tighten the socket head screws in the frame clamps. Do not ride the motorcycle with the Pin Bracket in place for any reason. The Pin Bracket must be removed when the motorcycle comes out of the Frame Lock. 1 Attach the Pin Bracket to the frame clamps and tighten the hex bolts securely. Position the motorcycle squarely and centered over the Frame Lock base unit. 2 - Slide the pin through the Frame Lock and Pin Bracket. Use a cotter pin or padlock (both are customer supplied) to lock the pin in place. Slide the pin in place while you are seated on the motorcycle. It is not necessary to have someone assist you with the pin insertion. If the holes do not line up perfectly it means that you are not straight on the Frame Lock base. Turning the handlebars left or right to move the motorcycle horizontally to allow the pin to slide in. Be sure to install a locking device (customer supplied) in the pin once it is inserted. 1 - Remove the pin while you are seated on the motorcycle. 2 - Roll the motorcycle away from the Frame Lock base plate. Remove the Pin Bracket before riding the motorcycle. DO NOT RIDE THE MOTORCYCLE WITH PIN BRACKET IN PLACE FOR ANY REASON. THE PIN BRACKET MUST BE REMOVED WHEN THE MOTORCYCLE COMES OUT OF THE FRAME LOCK MOUNT.

5 Frame Lock Base Installation Instructions 1 - Position bike in trailer, slide Frame Lock base under bike and insert pin. Make sure base is positioned square in relation to trailer; this will prevent complications when later loading/unloading bikes. 2 - Check around bike for clearance issues with walls, other bikes, wheel wells, etc. Then measure and note the position of Frame Lock in trailer. 3 - Check under trailer for clearance issues/interference with cross members and wiring.

6 4 - Remove bike from trailer. 5 - Re-measure the position of the Frame Lock base to insure it is has not moved and that the base is squarely placed. 6 - Mark floor around Frame Lock to ensure base stays square and does not slide from position while drilling. 7 - Using Frame lock as a guide, drill 9/16 hole on one end of the base while placing one foot on the middle of the base to prevent it from moving. 8 - Insert bolt into drilled hole, this will help keep the Frame Lock stationary while drilling second hole. Recommended Hardware (4) 1/2 Nylon Locking Nuts (4) 1/2 Grade 5 hex head bolts, bolt length should be 1-1/8 plus floor thickness 9 - Drill 9/16 hole on opposite end of Frame Lock while again placing one foot on base to prevent it from moving

7 10 - Insert bolt into the second drilled hole, this will ensure that all holes will be lined up correctly Drill the two remaining holes, and insert bolts Place floor mounting plate into position under trailer Thread nylon locking nuts onto bolts to hold floor mounting plate into position Tighten hardware to 78 ft-lbs Frame Lock base installation is complete!
