The Desierto F s screen can not only be fitted easily but also has an infinite variety of adjustment options. Here we have managed to design an individual, modern look for the F 800/650 GS (Twin), combined with the highest level of everyday benefits. The main feature is that the screen can be adjusted as you like. The screen can be adjusted completely to the rider s personal requirements without any set pattern. Thus the windscreen can be adjusted highly effectively and quickly to suit any situation. Air flow and annoying wind noise can thus be practically eliminated. The height and inclination of the screen can be adjusted as well as the distance from the fairing (important for eliminating annoying airflow). This can be done easily in a few seconds with a standard size 10 open ended spanner. With these fittings your F 800/650 GS (Twin) is an absolute eye catcher with the highest level of driving comfort. 5 388 Spoiler for Windscreen This special spoiler for the windscreen of the F800GS and F650GS (Twin) is perfect for undertaking long, fast motorbike journeys in comfort. There is a significant reduction in turbulence and wind pressure against the helmet. It simply fits onto the windscreen, and is secured using the snap closure. 6 BMW F800 F GS 389 Windscreen BMW F800GS/F700GS/F650GS (Twin) Lots of riders of the F800/F650GS (Twin) would like a better wind protection, because the original windscreen is extremely sporty in design. We provide it with the high screen! The Touratech windscreen is much bigger, and has a different aerodynamic shape. The resulting improved wind protection reduces the (wind) pressure on the rider, which results in much more relaxed riding. Turbulence around the helmet is minimised and protection against the weather improved. The windscreen is simply fitted in place of the regular one. It is attached at the same points. The integrated on-board socket with fuse makes it easy to connect a GPS device or mobile phone. Our development team were able to make a number of further improvements to its positive off-road characteristics. This engine guard is an absolute revolution! Touratech have attached great importance to its robustness and functionality. Serious damage, such as holes in the engine block, can be effectively prevented by fitting the large Touratech engine guard. Of course it s also suitable for the BMW F700GS! Maximum strength is provided by multiple folded ridges in the 4 mm thick aluminium base plate, while an additional lower stainless steel attachment plate on the engine ensures the force of an impact is distributed over a large area via 6 bolting points. Ground clearance is not restricted by these two base plates. Another benefit is that the front of the engine guard rises up far enough to prevent damage to the oil filter and oil cooler as well. 34 Engine/Radiator Guard BMW F800 F GS 417 Hard Part Radiator The radiator of the F800GS is only screwed to the frame at one point; all other attachments consist of slot-in rubber bearings. A fall or extreme loads when riding off-road can cause the plastic loop to tear off - which usually spells the end of the ride! This strong Hard Part, made of 3 mm stainless steel, is a replacement for this angle bracket, and provides additional support for the radiator on the filler neck. This means the radiator is securely attached, and is effectively protected against sliding out of the rubber bearings. The original screws can be reused F 800 GS (-2012) & Adventure F 800 GS (2013 -) F 650/700 GS (Twin) Hard Part for BMW Engine Guard, F800GS/ADV/F700GS The Hard Part for the original BMW engine guard consists of hard wearing rubber mats and an air permeable, heat resistant fleece. The fleece has already proved extremely successful with the Touratech Racing Team. It effectively prevents the spaces between the engine guard and the engine from blocking and stones from collecting and settling there. The fleece can be cut or trimmed as required, and is secured neatly and unobtrusively with cable ties. The rubber mats are glued directly to the guard, thereby preventing stones from settling between the oil reservoir and engine guard. 35 418 GS The emergency Diagnostic Tool for BMW Motorcycles The GS-911 is a unique combination of hardware and software that lets BMW motorbike owners read and also clear the bike s fault memory on the road without a trip to a specialist workshop. This easy-touse device can be read via Bluetooth on a Symbian or Windows mobile phone, or via USB cable or Bluetooth on a PC/laptop/netbook. The software is available for download after registering on the manufacturer s website The GS-911 provides the following features: Emergency functions (mobile and PC) / Read ECU information (control unit hardware and software version, date of manufacture and other manufacturer information) / Read the fault memory (fault and error codes) and clear the fault memory / Read and store real-time data / Service and maintenance functions (only with the PC software): Test function, e.g. testing the lambda sensor / Set the service interval (motorbike display, e.g. F800GS, shows when the next service is due).
