3 PRODUCTIVITY HAS A NEW LOOK AND A NEW IMAGE The presentation of our new logo and our new tagline is an important moment in Laverda s history and is characterized by four key elements: the deep-rooted partnership with its customers, the strength of the AGCO Corporation group, the specialization that makes Laverda one of the leading manufacturers of combine harvesters, and the innovation expressed by a range that is constantly evolving. In order to summarize this in a new corporate image, we have chosen a direct and clear path. A symbol, consisting of only two elements, that form the shape of a large L and at the same time evoke the image of a cutting header. Two colors, energetic red symbolizing the combine at work and rigorous black, expressing technical innovation and business planning. Dynamism and rigor are in the design of the new logo Laverda, along with a muscular italic font that evokes strength and dependability of machines built to last.

4 When choosing a combine harvester what is important for you? Our experience indicates two specific values: the reliability of the machine and its ability to produce, in turn contributing to profitability. With this in mind, the new company tagline was born: Our Reliability, Your Productivity, which directly expresses Laverda s mission: to be a specialized and trusted point of reference for the needs of modern agriculture that wants to grow and generate income with the utmost respect of the environment. Laverda, with 140 years of history, has been identified by AGCO, for its expertise in harvesting machines, as an integral part of its overall strategy to offer high tech solutions for professional farmers feeding the world. AGCO, present in over 140 countries in the world, has chosen the innovative centre of Breganze, with the latest equipment and advanced production lines, as the official production site for all combine harvesters for the EAME markets. 5 The only Italian company to produce combine harvesters, Laverda founded by Pietro Laverda in 1873, was transformed from a artisan workshop into an industry that rose to the top of its sector by the 1930 s. The reliability of Laverda s machines has always been accompanied by technological research and design, which has produced innovations that have changed agricultural mechanization history. For example, in 1956, Laverda presented the M60, the first self-propelled Italian combine, while in 1971, the M100 AL the first hillside combine, and the first in a long line of successful hillside combines. Laverda s reputation attracted the attention of major international groups, who saw Laverda as a perfect company in their strategic plan for global development. In 2000, the Argo Industrial Group acquired Laverda and relaunched its historic trademark on the market with a new range of products. In 2007, Argo created a 50% joint venture of Laverda with the American AGCO Corporation, one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of agricultural machinery in the world. In 2011, AGCO completed the acquisition of Laverda and concentrated their entire European production of combine harvesters at the Breganze factory, making Laverda a strategic location for AGCO s EAME harvesting activities.

Thanks to the combination of the cutting header with GSAX for constant cutting height, PFR system for perfect feeding, MCS Plus for effective and gentle threshing and separation, and the REV module for an increased separation surface. And in this sea, a Laverda combine at work is also characterized by the eco-friendly AGCO Power engines with their low fuel consumption and reduced emissions. Efficiency, but also total control and operator comfort with the hi-tech functions of the machine and ergonomic multifunctional lever: innovations that unite the evolution of performance with a rational operational simplicity. 10 In 1956 Laverda changed Italian history, presenting the first Italianmade mass-produced self-propelled combine harvester, also in a rice version equipped with tracks. Rice models have always been an important part of the Laverda range, with dedicated solutions to meet quality rice-cultivation requirements even in countries where the climate allows more than 2 harvests per year. The PFR, with retractable fingers, for example, enables uniform feeding even in the case of intertwined rice crop, while the specific drum designed with teeth arranged over 12 bars, ensures a stable system, which is essential for the delicate treatment of a noble product. The rice concave, an exclusive Laverda design, is also toothed, with large discharge surfaces that are ideal for processing particularly damp and infested crops. All Laverda Rice combines are equipped with tracks, rollers and large pressure blocks to achieve an optimal floating action and make the combine easy to manoeuvre on rice fields. In the mechanized harvesting of maize, in addition to the product s moisture control for optimum threshing, there is also the need for a special treatment to ensure the integrity of the grain. Therefore, apart from the universal concave, suitable for those who harvest various products, Laverda offers a maize-specific concave, ideal for those who only cultivate maize and require maximum performance. Apart from the concave, the crop elevators and the sieves specifically designed for maize, which, also contribute to make the most out of Laverda machines. Maize is a good example of adaptability to the most varied conditions, meaning its ability to be harvested on different types of land, this is where the versatility of Laverda combines is underlined, able to take on all types of terrain in any condition.

13 Numbers count. In fact, we continually rely on the numbers that on the job have special meaning. Time, terrain, and quantities expressed in numbers translate, in fact, into the value of our work. Laverda s Hillside AL combine series is expressed with three numbers in particular, corresponding to the extreme gradients that they are able to conquer: transversal slopes of up to 40%, longitudinal uphill gradients of up to 30% and downhill gradients of up to 10%. Values that allow you to bring the profitability of mechanized agriculture to various steep but fertile areas, in Italy and throughout Europe. The LC and LCI (Integral) models are characterized by an exclusive and patented, lateral action levelling system. This enables a reliable and precise transverse levelling of up to 20%, making it possible to work well on hillsides, assuring high performance, total comfort and maximum safety. The levelling system also allows you to reduce the external dimensions of the machine, ideal for road travel even on narrow roadways. Numbers count for us, especially dates: in 1971 Laverda created the first hillside combine harvester in the world, equipped with a complete levelling system, proving our experience in the development of this technology.
