1 Date: Sunday April 3rd, 2016 Location: Oregon Raceway Park, Grass Valley, OR Time: Gates open at 7am- Gates close at 6pm Price: $150/driver, no spectator fee Timeline for the day 7:00am: Gates open. Everyone entering ORP MUST SIGN ALL WAIVERS and have wristbands must be worn while on the property. 7:00am- 8:30am: Registration and tech. All cars/drivers must have current safety equipment and a current DOT approved helmet. See SCCA tech inspection sheet. Car numbers are not required but can be used. Late arrivals must wait to be tech d and must personally meet with Kyle Nadeau for instruction/meeting notes 8:30am: Mandatory Driver s Meeting to be held in front of the ORP registration office. Everyone must attend or they will not be allowed on track. Meeting will be held in the lower by-pass. 9:00am- Track goes hot, see track layout and direction. Corner workers stationed at TURN 8 and TURN 9 and TURN :00pm- Track is cold, break for lunch. Lunch is not provided and there will be no food services. I highly recommend BRING YOUR OWN FOOD, since the closest McDonalds is 30mins away. 1:00pm- Track goes hot in counter clockwise direction 5:00pm- Track is cold 6:00pm- Gates are closed Track layout and direction Cars will be paddocked in the LOWER BY-PASS. They will be pulled off to one side so cars can pass. Speed limit in the Bypass is 5mph. Cars will be staged up Valkyrie Hill and Turn 6. A Starter will be placed before Turn 7 and will be releasing cars with 30 second intervals. A Corner Worker will be stationed at Turn 8/9/11. The finish line/shut down area will be between Turn 11 and 12. Cars will then proceed slowly (~25mph) back to the staging line using the Connector. In the morning, cars will run from Turn 7 all the way to Turn 11 clockwise. In the afternoon, we'd switch directions Tech will close at 9am! Anyone who is late, must wait until we can tech your car and make sure you have signed all the proper forms. Late arrivals must also meet with the event host.

2 Passenger rules: Approved by the Oregon Raceway Operations Manager, a single passenger may be allowed in the afternoon session only. All drivers must be approved as instructor level by the Event Host before proceeding on track with a passenger. Approval requirements are: must show signs of complete car control in the morning session and may not have gone off track. Must have an SCCA approved roll cage, including door bars. Must have secure racing seat with approved 4 point restraint for both driver and passenger. Approved helmets must be worn at all times. Driver and passenger must have signed all appropriate waivers and forms. Tech We will follow the tech inspection used at SCCA events. Convertibles must have a roll bar that passes the broomstick test. No exceptions. Tandem Drifting and Passengers Tandem drifting will/can happen at the discretion of the Starter and/or Event Host. Tandem drifting will only happen in the afternoon session after the approval of the Event Organizer. Tandem cars must have an SCCA approved roll cage with door bars installed along with the other approved safety equipment. Passengers are allowed but may not have any hands/arms/phones or other body parts out of the window. Violators will be black flagged and removed from ORP. Spectators Spectators are free and we will have designated spectator areas. Bleachers will be in place on the hills between Turn 9 and the Half Pipe. This provides the greatest viewing area. A rope line will be placed a minimum of 300 feet off track (uphill) to ensure safety. Any spectator caught crossing this line will be removed from the property immediately. A shuttle service will drive spectators to and from the area. Shuttle service will run every 30 minutes. Track will go cold while the shuttle is on track. Once the shuttle is clear, drifting will resume. Bathrooms and garbage cans will be placed near the bleachers and the Bypass. Photographers must have credentials and follow all of ORP s Photographer s Rules. Drones my not be used under 50 feet and must have Photographer s credentials. Corner Workers/Volunteers Corner Workers will be placed at the Start Line near Turn 6. Two tall orange cones will designate the start line. The Starter is in charge of releasing cars with appropriate gapping and will check for driver wristbands. The Starter controls the event and has final say on releasing cars. A Corner Worker will be

3 place in the Turn 8/9/11 tower with a full set of flags. Corner Workers will follow all standard safety rules and use appropriate flags for any emergency. Rolling flat tows will be provided by ORP staff. Refunds No refunds will be given. Food/gas/weather No food will be provided nor for sale. Please bring your own food. The nearest McDonalds is 30 minutes away. Fuel is available for sale on the premises. ($5.50/gal for 92 no ethanol). This event will run rain/shine. Keep in mind that it may be raining in Portland but it is usually dry at the track. The track boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year. Be aware, it can VERY windy. Please tie down any tents and please dispose of garbage appropriately. Used tires must be taken with you. There is no tire disposal at the track. Camping and Lodging Participants can camp in the ORP Out Lot the night before. You will not be allowed in the park until the gates open at 7am on the event day. Camping is free but no services are provided (power/water/dumping). There are various motels in the area that provide accommodations. Please see ORP s website for lodging. Gates close at 6pm and all participants must be off the property. Other Notes: The entrance to ORP has a 1000ft driveway that is gravel. Speeds in and around the paddock are 5mph. This is strictly enforced! Garages are available for rent for $100/day. Contact ORP for reservations. Tech Inspection Tech inspection includes, but is not limited to: Check tires - Good condition, no exposed cords or cracks in sidewalls. Check wheel lugs for tightness, none missing.

4 Hub caps / wheel / lug covers removed. Check wheel bearings for tightness. Check seat belts for good condition, lap belts minimum are required. Racing harness should be mounted properly. Check the battery mounting, must be mounted securely. Check overall for fluid leaks. Check that brake pedal is firm. Brake & clutch fluid levels are sufficient, no leaks. Check throttle return spring. Remove all loose items from interior, NO FLOOR MAT ON DRIVER SIDE. Helmet must be of SNELL 95 standard or newer (per SCCA Solo rule 4.3.1). DOT only certification is NOT acceptable. Helmets that pass inspection will be given a CCR helmet sticker. 1) ALL lug nuts must be on the car, not even 1 missing. Believe it or not, 1 lug nut can make a difference between you keeping your wheels on your car, or you having to replace your entire front suspension. 2) DOT/SNELL helmets are required. I really shouldn't have to say this, but this is the society we live in, NO bicycle helmets, no fighter pilot helmets, no Nazi period correct helmets. Full face helmets, or approved open face helmets only. 3) ALL seats must be secured to the car, firmly. I've seen some sketchy seat set ups, and with how fast everyone will be going, I will not allow a loose seat.

5 4) Roll cages are not required, but I always highly suggest them. Especially since a young racer lost his life last weekend because he rolled his CRX and didn't have a cage. I'd hate to see something bad happen at this event, so please, if you don't have a cage, exercise good judgement and be aware of the track and fellow drivers in front or behind you. 5) NO coolant. Water wetter is ok, but no coolant. Please, replace your coolant with water before arriving to the track. I'm not sure if there will be a facility to change fluids at the track, so just to be safe...take care of that before you arrive. 6) Fire extinguishers are not required, but highly suggested. You can pick up a small 2.5 pound one from Home Depot or Lowes for about $30. Better safe than sorry. 7) Seat belts/harnesses must also be fully secured to the body of the car/or roll cage. 8) Make sure your brake fluid is topped off and you have good brake pressure. Stopping is kind of important. Also make sure if you have a hydro e-brake that the fluid is topped off in that, and that the lever is adjusted to a comfortable stiffness. 9) As far as body panels, make sure they are attached to the car properly. No one likes having a hood fly up on them when they're mid corner. This goes for rear hatches/trunks as well. I understand that in drifting you might give your buddy a little kiss on the rear and rip his bumper off, but please arrive with everything attached properly, and no floppy fenders please. This isn't Ebisu. 10) No low hanging exhaust please. If you're missing a hanger or two, you have a week to replace it. And I know for a fact it doesn't take that long. That's about is as far as tech goes
