The entertainment center s 40" LCD television and Bose Lifestyle 38 Stereo System with CD/ DVD player are pleasant diversions. An optional wine-chiller is available.

So, too, are a trash compactor and central vacuuming system. Countertops are Corian, or optional granite. Drawer-style under-counter refrigerator and freezer units are also an option.

The galley deck is covered by Amtico flooring. A custom inlaid floor treatment is available. DINETTE (ENCLOSED BRIDGE) The settee seats as many as six travelers, in a classic L-shaped configuration. VIP GUEST STATEROOM The forward VIP guest stateroom has an offset queen-sized berth with drawer storage, two nightstands, a vanity with stool, overhead cabinets, a cedar hanging locker, clothes drawers, a 20" LCD TV with DVD player, and an AM/FM stereo with CD player. GUEST STATEROOM An additional guest stateroom with twin berths sleeps two. A 20" LCD TV with DVD player and an AM/FM stereo with CD player are standard. So are the hanging locker and vanity with stool. CREW STATEROOM Two sleep in twin berths in an over-under arrangement. A hanging locker and private head access are standard conveniences. An optional 15" LCD TV and DVD player are welcome diversions. MASTER, VIP, GUEST, AND CREW HEADS All four heads have private showers, Corian countertops, VacuFlush toilets, linen storage, and Amtico flooring. The fourth head serves the crew stateroom and as a day head.

Like her sister ships, the 73 SS has an evolved planing hull. With it, Oceans are quite possibly the best roughwater yachts ever produced in their class. They can remain at cruising speed, in difficult seas, and not take a beating. While foul weather may keep most other sportfishermen at the dock, ours are running for the offshore canyons and big-game fish. DINETTE & GALLEY (OPEN BRIDGE) Step up from the salon into a fluid and cheerful space devoted to the satisfaction of appetites sharpened by salt air. To starboard is a six-place high-gloss dinette table with traditional soft-upholstered settee. The galley is marvelously light and airy, offering an unobstructed view of the salon. Guests may well be astonished at its center island. Certainly, the galley s surprising roominess, cabinet and drawer space, and the quality of its standard appliances will please the most demanding. A four-burner range with oven, convection/microwave oven, refrigerator and freezer, a dishwasher and trash compactor are also standard. The galley deck is covered in Amtico designer flooring. A custom inlaid floor treatment is available. Countertops are Corian. Under-counter drawer-style refrigerator and freezer units are also available options. For them, Ocean has designed an open flybridge option incorporating a custom hardtop with EZ2CY enclosure. Here, captains and bridge guests will enjoy the extraordinary light and unhampered view protected from wind and unwelcome weather conditions. Removing the enclosed interior stairway of the 73 SS s enclosed flybridge model alters the yacht s main-deck plan. The open flybridge model has a correspondingly open salon-dinette-galley area. In its airiness, it evokes the casual atmosphere of the country kitchen. The amenities found on both standard and optional flybridge versions are unsurpassed in a production yacht.
