7 PAIRINGS HEALTH Lounge Overview Clean-out design allows for easy clean up of debris or liquids. Cleanout space does not detract from the aesthetic or function of the lounge. Privacy panels are 2"D and are 41"H. Contrasting upholstery may be specified on the outside, inside, and privacy panel boxing. Privacy panels are available on one-, two-, and three-seat lounges, with or without arms, and in conjunction with tablet top and tech arm options. Arm tops and outside panels panels feature 3 4"-thick, high- polyurethane foam. Arms feature a sewn slipcover with French seams that is stapled into place. Cushions are made of high, high resiliency, CFC-free, laminated polyurethane foam. Seat cushions are 2 3 4" thick. Back cushions are 2" thick and upholstered using the slipcover method and finished with French seams: Double-stitch seams in center (27 W segments) Single-French seams at sides of lounge to create double-stitch appearance when joined with other lounge units. Seats feature a high-tension, strip webbing suspension that is stapled to the frame. Seat upholstery features a wrap-around upholstery method and is stapled into place. Models with tech arm feature an HPL with phenolic core tablet on an articulating arm. Tablets are available as an option. They are available in 3D laminate, HPL with a phenolic core or wood. Power/USB modules are available on left, right, or left and right kick rail on all lounge and bench models as well as left, right, or left and right front of arm on 8" and tech arms. See page Legs are 9 1 4"H and available in brushed or polished aluminum. Non-skid, adjustable glides are 2" in diameter. Frame is constructed of plywood, using a lap-joint construction method. Frames are glued and screwed together. Handing designation (left or right of unit) is determined from the user s perspective when seated. Connections: Two ganging brackets are required to join two units together; specify two K60GB models to gang two lounge units together or two K82PGB to gang two perch units together. Lounge models have pre-drilled holes in the base to accept the ganging bracket and small mating piece. Hole patterns are available bracket installation on perch units. 8 PAIRINGS HEALTH Divider Wall Overview Divider walls are available in freestanding, in-line, end-of-run, "L," "T," Plus, and Z models and in heights of 30" and 41"H. Freestanding walls do not connect to other walls, but can accept bench and lounge units. Frame is constructed of plywood, using a lap-joint construction method. Frames are glued and screwed together. Power modules and infeed grommets are available as options. Each power module has one plug and two USB ports. Infeed grommet allows power infeed to enter the wall. Power modules and infeed grommet locations are different depending on the type of wall. Bottoms have a 1 1 8"H MDF core with black TFL toe-kick rail, inset by 3 4", and attached after upholstery is applied. These Pairings models coordinate with Pairings Health models. Frameless resin or glass is available in 27", 54", and 81" widths for 41"H straight divider walls to add an additional layer of privacy. Specify divider wall with extrusion insert and frameless glass or resin panel separately. Extrusion insert is not available on corner walls. Divider walls are fully upholstered and finished with single- and double- French seams. Contrasting fabric may be specified on the inside, outside, boxing (sides) or accent (top). Top is also available with a 3D laminate or solid surface top cap on 30" or 41"H models and with a solid surface work shelf on 41"H models only. IMPORTANT: Upholstery patterns and stripes on Pairings lounge and bench models will not align with divider wall upholstery patterns and stripes. Portable surfaces are available for use on benches, lounges (18" model; shown), and on top of divider walls (10" model). Connections: B A Z-clip brackets, along with screws, are used to connect lounges to a divider wall. Side attachment shown. See page for locations of brackets and connection options. A and B connectors are pre-installed on applicable models. They allow dividers walls to be connected to an adjacent divider wall. Assembly instructions and video are available at kimball.com. 3D laminate or solid surface tops are available on divider walls. 41"H divider walls with solid surface work shelf are available. Work shelf overhangs the wall on one side (outside). 9 PAIRINGS HEALTH Upholstery Specification Reference Contrasting fabric may be specified for each of the areas shown below. IMPORTANT: Use an electronic specification tool for accurate pricing when specifying contrasting fabrics. Upholstery paterrns and stripes on Pairings lounge and bench models will not align with divider wall upholstery patterns and stripes. While seat and back upholstery will align on a unit, there is no guarantee that individual models will align when attached to each other. Applying upholsteries with horizontal or vertical patterns and stripes on corner units, wedge units, and the backs of units that will be used in a ganging application is discouraged. Fabrics reflect light differently when viewed at various angles, creating a natural phenomenon called flip. 10 PAIRINGS HEALTH Arm Cap and Tablet Arm Options for Lounge Seating Arm Caps: Arm cap substitution, when desired, must be made for each arm, and must be the same on both arms for models with arms on both sides (regardless if it is 2", 8", 8" tech arm, or a combination). For example: K82LC32LAU2RAUPFB would become K82LC32LAW2RAWPFB to add wood arm caps on both arms. Lounges with privacy panels are not offered in all arm cap options: Two- and three-seat lounges with privacy panels are not available with arm caps. One-seat lounges with privacy panel(s) featuring 2" arm(s) are not available with arm caps. Handing designation (left or right of unit) is determined from the user s perspective when seated. Tablet Arms: Tablet arm substitution is available on select models. See individual pricing page for availability by model.
