5 2. Other information Dear business partners, Please note the following information regarding the Red & Grey Y packages. From model year 2017 (CW 22/2016), the Red and grey Y packages for the ŠKODA Fabia (NJ3) and ŠKODA Fabia Combi (NJ5) with the Ambition and Style variants will always be combined with the black glossy decorative frame for the front radiator (PR 6KF) and the fog lights (PR 8WB or PR 8WC) that are fitted as standard. 6 Basic roof rack 6V Fabia (NJ3) Material: Steel + plastic + anodised aluminium Quality Reliability Durability Testing The basic roof rack is ideal when even the oversized luggage compartment typical of ŠKODA vehicles is not large enough to accommodate the items you wish to transport. On account of its quality, proven reliability and ease of use, the roof rack is the best solution for transporting bulky items (e.g. sports equipment). Knowing that this is the case allows the occupants to relax, even when the vehicle is fully loaded. The basic roof rack is simply secured in the gap between the door and the side panel. The rack is lockable, thereby deterring thieves. The T-slot allows other lockable transportation systems (such as bicycle racks, ski racks, ski and snowboard boxes, luggage baskets, etc.) to be fitted to the roof rack. The basic roof rack is subjected to rigorous testing for durability, corrosion resistance and impact resistance. The roof rack undergoes the City Crash Test to ensure that it meets the necessary quality criteria. To pass the test, the rack must remain secured to the vehicle body when carrying a load of between 90 and 120 kg and being subjected to overloading of around 12 G for 80 milliseconds. Another criterion for passing the City Crash Test is that none of the items being transported becomes detached from the rack. This guarantees maximum safety both for the vehicle's occupants and for other road users in front of and behind the vehicle. The basic roof rack's load capacity depends on the vehicle's maximum permissible roof load (including rack). This can be found in the vehicle's documentation. 7 Transverse roof rack 6V Fabia Combi (NJ5) Material: Steel + plastic + anodised aluminium Quality Reliability Durability Testing The transverse roof rack is a practical extra addition to ŠKODA Fabia Combi vehicles fitted with roof rails. On account of their quality, proven reliability and ease of use, they are justifiably considered to be the ideal solution for transporting large items. Especially when these items are too large for the luggage compartment. It is very easy to secure the transverse roof rack to the roof rails simply flip the eccentric lever down and you're done. The rack is lockable, thereby deterring thieves. The T-slot allows other practical, reliable, lockable transportation systems such as bicycle racks, ski racks, ski and snowboard boxes, luggage baskets, etc., to be fitted to the roof rack. The roof rack is subjected to rigorous testing for water resistance, corrosion resistance and durability. It also undergoes the City Crash Test (test method for transportation systems) to ensure that it is both strong and durable. 8 Decorative door strips 6V Material: PUR (polyurethane) Colour: Ready to be painted Elegance Protection Quality The decorative door strips are first and foremost a stylish addition to enhance the aesthetic qualities of your vehicle. In addition, they offer a certain amount of protection. The strips are made from high-quality polyurethane and can be applied when the surface is prepared for painting (GRU). The component must be painted to match the vehicle's paintwork by an authorised ŠKODA AUTO service partner. The door strips are weather resistant and can also withstand small amounts of mechanical damage. They are shaped to perfectly follow the contour of the vehicle doors. All that is needed to fix them to the doors is a strip of self-adhesive tape. 9 Front mud flaps 6V Material: EVA + polyethylene Colour: Black Utility Protection Resistance Quality The front mud flaps are another of the practical accessories from the ŠKODA Original Accessories range that increase the utility of the vehicle. They protect the lower areas of the vehicle body from dirt and damage caused by stones and debris striking them. Mud flaps are useful especially in winter, when the corrosive salt that is spread on the roads generally sticks to the mud flaps rather than to the vehicle body. Their geometry is tailored perfectly to that of the wheel arches to avoid incurring any aerodynamic losses. The mud flaps are manufactured from high-quality, flexible material that retains its shape between -50 C and +50 C. They are resistant to chemicals (road salt, oil and fuel) and can also withstand UV radiation. And because they are easy to attach to the wheel arches, there is no need for modifications to the bodywork, which means that the corrosion protection remains intact. The door sill trims are manufactured using highquality, laminated black foil and feature the Fabia logo in silver. To keep them clean, simply wipe them with a damp sponge and dry them off. This will keep them looking fresh and clean, and just like new. It is primarily designed with people who want to transport bulky goods in mind. The grille is fitted directly behind the rear headrests and prevents unsecured items in the luggage compartment from entering the passenger compartment. This means that it does not limit the space in the luggage compartment in any way, allowing it to be used safely and to the full. The trunk grille can also be used to transport large animals (especially dogs) safely and make sure that they do not enter the passenger compartment. This longitudinal trunk grille allows the luggage compartment to be divided into two sections. The grille is designed especially for people who want to take their fourlegged friends with them and also store other items in the luggage compartment (sports equipment, everyday consumer goods, etc.). This trunk grille can only be used in combination with the transverse trunk grille. Securing it is simple: All you have to do is attach it to the existing trunk grille; using plastic-head screws, secure it to the rear-seat-back fixing bracket on the luggage-compartment floor and in the hole in the body panel, underneath the boot-lid latch-striker cover. The grille does not obstruct the driver's view through the rear window. The grille is manufactured from premium-quality, powder-coated black steel. If you choose to use this grille, you will not be able to use the retractable luggage compartment cover. 14 Non-detachable tow bar 6V Fabia (NJ3) Material: High-quality steel, plastic Colour: Black Utility High-quality materials Testing and homologation This non-detachable tow bar not only increases the utility of the vehicle first and foremost, it is a practical accessory for any drivers who regularly use a trailer and would happily give up the constant battle with attaching and removing the ball hitch. Manufactured from high-quality materials, the tow bar has undergone rigorous testing for strength and resistance to corrosion, as well as load tests. It complies with homologation E8 55R and all Czech and international regulations.
