6 SUMMARY OF COMMENTS TO DATE 1. There is a problem with wait times in Eagle River and getting a cab 2. Bar owners in Anchorage and Eagle River can t get a cab for their customers at bar close. 3. Anchor Rides takes weeks to get to Eagle River. More ADA cabs are necessary. 4. If geographic permits are issued, they must be Eagle River specific and not allowed into Anchorage except to drop off.

21 In 2000, 75% of workers over the age of 16 in Chugiak-Eagle River drove a single occupancy vehicle to work. In 2011, the percentage increased to 78%. In both 2000 and 2011, only 2% of households in Chugiak-Eagle River do not own at least one car *Source: 2000 Census, 2007 Community Survey 5 year Estimate
22 SUMMARY 1. Population increased 59% since 1980, projected to increase an additional 20% through Eagle River population has remained constant at 12% of Anchorage population. 3. Eagle River residents largely commute independently of alternative transportation availabilities.
