12 Additional Design Considerations CNG fuel fill located separate from gasoline fill area to remain CARB zone compliant Tank carrier subsystem mounted to the frame, not the flexing pickup bed All fuel lines routed inside frame rails GM design clearances to exhaust, propshaft, engine, transmission, and front of dash are maintained Electrical harness additions require no splicing

13 How the System Works: Truck always starts with gasoline System switches to CNG when engine reaches pre-determined operating temperatures Driver can switch fuels at any time When CNG tank becomes empty, the system automatically switches over to the gasoline tank Fuel gauge is installed directly on the dash Simple and reliable 14
