DURATION : One semester 5. PRE-REQUISITE : ELT 2403 & ELE 2403L OR ELE 2306 & ELE 2306L 6. COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to provide the student with basic knowledge and application of hydraulic and pneumatic systems which have electrical and electronic components. 7. JUSTIFICATION: Technological changes in the field of electricity have led to general application of electrical equipment and controllers. As a result, it is necessary for the student to come in contact with fundamental knowledge in this area. 8. GENERAL OR MAIN OBJECTIVE: Interpret diagrams of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. 9. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: 9.1 Identify electronic automatisms applied to hydraulics and pneumatics 9.2 Identify applied electrical automatisms 9.3 Interpret pneumatic diagrams 9.4 Interpret hydraulic diagram 9.5 Compare examples of hydraulic and pneumatic applications.

The student must have a minimum of three (3) partial grades and a final one. Each grade will have a predetermined weight.
