2 Anatomy of a Fidanza Flywheel Fidanza aluminum flywheels are made from the highest quality 606 T6 or 24 T3 aluminum. These materials are fantastic for strength, heat dissipation and of course reduction in weight. LIGHTER WEIGHT (40% - 60% LIGHTER THAN STOCK) -Delivers faster throttle response -Frees up additional horsepower, adds performance at the wheels -Reduces wear and stress on engine rotating assembly -Increased fuel economy (if you can keep your foot out of it!) FASTENERS - MILITARY SPEC Military grade aerospace fasteners featuring mechanical, self-locking nuts with built in washers for reliability and strength. Friction plate hardware aids in pulling excess heat away from the clutch face to increase longevity and performance. hardware locations are engineered for optimal clamp load and function. REPLACEABLE FRICTION PLATE - 00 STEEL / HEAT TREATED Constructed of incredibly strong 00 steel, all plates are milled to meet our high specifications and are pickled and oiled to deliver superior longevity and disc engagement. With these replaceable plates there is no need to resurface or replace the entire flywheel when changing or replacing the clutch; saving both time and money. STEPPED DOWELS - STEEL Once the pressure plate is installed these dowels become locked in place and cannot come out. First in the industry to implement the use of stepped dowels. (On most applications) BODY T6 ALUMINUM or 24 T3 ALUMINUM Tolerances CNC-machined to +/ T6 (most applications) has an ultimate tensile strength of at least 42,000 psi and a yield strength of at least 3,000 psi with great heat transfer capability. -24 T3 (select applications) delivers optimum performance in low profile designs with maximum resistance to loss of tensile strength due to extreme heat. RING GEAR - 00 STEEL / HEAT TREATED Heat treated and Rockwell hardened for durability. Optimized tooth profile for smooth, consistent starter engagement. The steel ring gears are heated then pressed onto our lightweight aluminum flywheel body and redundantly secured with grade button screws for added strength. -Note; no welded tabs as welding to the ring gear can super heat it and make it brittle. BUTTON SCREWS - GRADE Increased security helps redundantly fasten the ring gear to the flywheel in addition to our engineered, interference press fit. Loctite - 6 High temperature/high Viscosity Included with hardware kits where required. Damages should be reported to the carrier immediately when the shipment is received. Damaged goods are the responsibility of the shipping company and it s the customer s responsibility to make claims with the shipping company when damage occurs.. returns must include a copy of the original invoice or they will be returned. LIMITED WARRANTY: Except for high performance parts, seller warrants this merchandise to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from date of purchase. This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, warranty of merchantability, and warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. SELLER DISCLAIMS ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR COMMERCIAL LOSSES, INCLUDING LABOR CLAIMS from use of this merchandise. If the merchandise fails to conform as warranted, deliver or ship it to seller, freight prepaid, along with proof of purchase and note explaining defect, defective, merchandise will be repaired or replaced free of charge, or credit given at seller s option. NO INDEPENDENT REPRESENTATIONS OR AGREEMENTS. There are no agreements outside of this written contract, except as the parties have elsewhere agreed in writing, nor has either party been induced to enter this agreement as the result of any oral representation or promise. Each party has relied on his own expertise and knowledge in entering this contract and each party acknowledges the consideration for the contract to be valuable and sufficient. DUTIES: The duty of Fidanza Performance to the customer is strictly contractual and shall in no way exceed the duties accepted herein, and where there appears an ambiguity in the contract language, the same shall be construed to limit the duty of Fidanza Performance. CONSENT TO JURISDICTION: The parties agree that any dispute arising out of parts, service or information provided by Fidanza Engineering Corporation shall be decided by the courts of the state of Ohio and that no other court shall have jurisdiction over said dispute. Fidanza Engineering Corporation maintains no sales force, service facility or agents outside the state of Ohio. EMISSION CONTROL COMPLIANCE: Customers are responsible for emission control compliance (if any) of Fidanza Engineering Corporation s engine and/or other components in their locality.
