The sensors of this innovative system locate suitable spaces as you drive past. Then, with the simple push of a button, it will automatically steer you in while you operate the accelerator, brake and gears (following on-screen instructions and audible signals). Park-Out Assist works like Active Park Assist in reverse, helping you manoeuvre out of a parallel space. The system steers while you keep control of the accelerator, brake and gears. 18 FORD KUGA Remarkable Technologies Hands-free liftgate Electric Parking Brake (EPB) For ease of operation, a simple switch located neatly on the centre console activates the Electric Parking Brake (EPB), allowing you space for extra storage between front seats. The EPB will automatically release as you pull away. Blind Spot Information System Ø with Cross Traffic Alert Designed to alert you when another vehicle (a car, van or lorry) enters your blind spot with a discreet warning light built into both door mirrors. Cross Traffic Alert scans left and right as you reverse from a perpendicular or angled parking space, providing visual and audible alert warnings when an approaching vehicle is detected. Opening or closing Kuga s liftgate is easy, even when your hands are full. With the keys in your pocket or bag, simply use a gentle kicking motion under the centre of the rear bumper and the hands-free liftgate will operate without you having to touch a thing. 2t6 HID headlights with dynamic bending Ford Kuga s HID bi-xenon headlights are more than twice as powerful as conventional headlights, but use only two-thirds of the energy.
