KPIT Automotive has successfully acquired a Sweden based $7B worldwide leader in automotive safety products and applications as our customer for engineering services. This engagement will lend significant credence to our capability and competence in the safety domain. A&E SBU has won a new customer, a global technology leader in designing and manufacturing of premium light, medium and heavy duty trucks. The engagement will start in the Powertrain practice. A&E SBU has won another customer, a leading manufacturer of automotive driveline components. The engagement is primarily in Hardware in Loop area in Powertrian practice. A&E SBU won important engagements with customers. Details: A Chinese Auto maker. The strategic win is a result of our expertise in Powertrain software. A European automotive Tier1. Customer will levarage our strong support in CAD technology in MEDS practice. Last quarter, A&E SBU won important engagements with customers on: For an Indian customer in Defense and Government Practice. KPIT Cummins shall be helping the customer with its expertise in product solutions. For an American Tier1. The engagement will involve Validation work using HIL Testing. For a Japanese automotive parts manufacturer, expert in climate controls. For a leading European OEM in AUTOSAR Practice. KPIT Cummins has won the Purchase Order for long awaited EuCD NOS Buyout and AUTOSAR License. Apart from 3 year contract for EUCD NOS OEM license, this includes AUTOSAR R3.1 BSW Serial Production single ECU license.
