2 AUTO-NEXT, is an organization comprising of some of the most renowned personalities, scientists, researchers and prominent industrialists who wants to develop India as a hub of automotive industries. As modern technologies are proliferating, as changes griping over the world very rapidly, and as customers demand the latest electronic features, new technologies are developing day by day. Indian automotive industry are now demanding cutting edge knowledge about automobile and their efficient, robust, and quiet running designs for the development of hybrid vehicles as other countries such as Japan, America etc, so that we too can get that super position in auto world. Modern engineering challenges and their solutions are often multidisciplinary in nature. Systems in today's vehicles integrate mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, as well as various other components all working together in a synergistic manner. While progress is being made in lowering the barriers between traditional engineering disciplines and formal education programs, this company is designed to provide engineers with mechanical or automobile backgrounds a complete knowledge to effectively interact with colleagues from the other discipline in an efficient and productive manner. In addition to utilizing state-of-the-art technology, laboratories and highly-trained personnel, AUTO-NEXT, recognizes the need to develop a new generation of engineers to meet the demands of the automotive industry, not just in India but across the globe so that they can excel in any automotive company by their hi-tech and sharp ideas. AUTO-NEXT is a technical training unit of Engineers Heritage Trust which has been in collaboration with automobile based companies, consultants & associated with some of the renowned organizations like star gaze software and technology solution, Avian Aerospace, Pinak consultancy, pantheon scientific etc. 1

3 This workshop will provide the college students a base to automotive technology. They will learn about each and every driving systems involved in automation and get better understanding and grip on its application. They will be learning the basics of each and every automotive part along with the physical demonstration of many automotive parts, so that they have the insight of the full working mechanism involved in it. These projects focus on the application and use of technology rather than their internal working so that a person can grasp the concepts well. This is more practically oriented workshop which is provided to give the insight of the real mechanism involved in different automotive parts. WHOLE WORKSHOP WILL BE CONDUCTED BY TATA MOTORS AUTHORISED TRAINING CONSULTANT Course contents: ONE DAY WORKSHOP: It s a 7 hours exhaustive workshop designed especially for the engineering students and will consist of detailed study of the automotive parts in different TATA passenger cars. 5 A certificate of participation to trainees for the workshop on Latest technologies of TATA passenger cars duly signed by AUTO-NEXT & TATA Motors authorized consultant. Certificate of Appreciation for the Host Institute from AUTONEXT. Workshop conducted by highly trained and authorized TATA MOTORS Training Consultants. All the training materials like slides, videos etc. will be of the authorized TATA MOTORS training consultant. The course providing insight into the structure and function of each component; vehicle integration; and related terms and working. Knowledge about appropriate use of sensors, actuators and mechanisms in mechatronics applications. An approach to new technologies & technical advancement in modern cars will be taught. Helpful in training/internships/placements. STUDY KIT will be provided to every participant. Requirements for Workshop: Minimum 70 students for conducting the workshop.
