4 50th Anniversary Super Snake CSM - 17SS0001P Fifty years after the first white with blue striped Super Snake rumbled out of the factory,shelby American. unveiled this 50th Anniversary model in the Ford Motor Company exhibit at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction. This concept car was used to showcase the premium options available in the 50thAnniversary Shelby Super Snake. It began as a Performance Pack Premium GT that had the most desirable options like Recaro seats and the Premium Platinum White finish. Shelby added many of the available Snake upgrades such as painted Guardsman Blue stripes and 750+HP Whipple Supercharger. 6 50th Anniversary Super Snake CSM - 17SS0001C Five decades after the first Super Snake rumbled out of the factory, Shelby American unveiled the all-new 50th Anniversary model in the Ford Motor Company exhibit at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction. To commemorate the anniversary of the legendary Shelby Super Snake, only 500 of the 2017 models will be built. This concept Super Snake began as the Lightning Blue Shelby GTE used for all of the advertisement material at Shelby American. The Lightning Blue Shelby GTE evolved into a th Anniversary Super Snake when that program took shape. The car was re-purposed and send to the Ford Display at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale in This car was the star of the launch video and has since been on the tour circuit for the company. The concept 17 Snake was used to showcase the base offering on the Super Snake. 8 Wide Body Super Snake Concept CSM - 17SS0002C Shelby American developed the wide body option for the all new Mustang as a way for serious track buffs to put more power to the pavement. This particular concept Shelby Super Snake started development in 2015 and debuted at the 5th Annual Carroll Shelby Tribute Show in Southern California on May 20th This car was painted in the Ford color Lighting Blue and badged as a thAnniversary Super Snake. 10 2015 Shelby Super Snake CSM - 15SS0001P In 2015, the Super Snake evolved from the Shelby GT500 platform to the all-new Ford Mustang GT chassis. This made the car much more nimble and road-course ready with the car s new independent suspension front and rear. This prototype Shelby Super Snake was initially an automatic transmission development car for the Shelby GT development program. It was later upfitted with the new Super Snake Carbon Fiber body and badged as the #1 Prototype. It has been in the Shelby American fleet ever since, serving as a track demonstrator as well as display car at events like Barret Jackson and SEMA This car was the first Automatic Transmission Super Snake built by Shelby American. 12 2015 Shelby Terlingua CSM - 16TRT0001C Working with Bill Neale, one of the Terlingua founders and designer of the Terlingua Racing Team crest, Shelby American offered a limited production run of the Shelby Terlingua Racing Team Mustang from This particular car began as a 2015 Shelby GT demonstrator, originally badged 15SGT0001C. It was displayed at Shelby American and at events until converted into the first of two Terlingua vehicles unveiled at Barrett-Jackson Arizona in January of The concept Shelby has since been the primary Terlingua show vehicle. It has been on the track at many historic racetracks such as Laguna Seca, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Sears Point among others. 14 2015 Shelby Terlingua Mule CSM - 16TRT0002P This Shelby Mustang started its life as a 2015 Shelby GT demonstrator. The car was on display at Shelby American and on the road at events until converted into the first of two Terlingua vehicles unveiled at Barrett- Jackson Arizona in January of The car has since been the main Terlingua showcase vehicle and has been on the track at many historic race tracks such as Laguna Seca, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Sears Point to name a few. 16 2015 Shelby F-150 Prototype CSM - 15ST0001P Carroll Shelby built the first muscle trucks for the street decades ago. His team returned the Shelby name to the market with a supercharged V8 powered F-150 designed to look good, handle well and provide miles of thrills. This Shelby F150 is one of a handful built for the 2015 model year and was the Prototype for the program. It was shown at several events since its debut. 18 2014 Shelby Raptor Baja 700 CSM - 14SRB0022 Carroll Shelby was pioneer in the development of the muscle and performance trucks, dating back over 30 years ago. When the Ford Raptor debuted, enthusiasts asked Shelby to make the mighty truck even more capable. This Shelby Raptor is one of 50 Exclusive Baja 700 trucks offered by Shelby American. This truck has a 700HP 6.2 V8 motor. The suspension is the Rogue Racing Stage 3 has amazing capabilities. This particular truck also has all of the short list of options offered on the Baja package like Rogue Racing front and rear bumpers and the retractable running boards. 22 2015 Shelby GTE Orange CSM - 15GTE0001C When Ford introduced a new and improved Mustang boasting retro styling and independent rear suspension, Shelby American brought back the Shelby GT concept as a post-title Shelby GTE. Available not only for the 5.0L-powered GT, it was also available for the new EcoBoost model with turbocharged 2.3L power. The base GTE package provided an entry-level path to a genuine Shelby Mustang; available options allowed buyers to tailor their performance goals all the way up to more than 750 supercharged horsepower along with track-ready suspension and braking systems. This concept started as a Shelby GT. It was clad in all of the Carbon Fiber Shelby GT body panels, it received the same suspension as the GT and Super Snake. The big difference was the power plant, which is an Ecoboost 4 cylinder Mustang. Since it brief life as a Shelby GT, it was stripped down and rebuilt as a Shelby GTE. 24 Shellby Focus ST Prototype CSM - 13SF0001P Carroll Shelby enjoyed enhancing the performance of just about everything. His team developed a program to make the Ford Focus ST hatchback a much more capable performer, much as Carroll did in the 1980s. This prototype Shelby Focus Prototype is one of 14 built over the run of the program. As the #1 Prototype car, it was fitted with all of the options offered including the big power upgrade. 26 2013 Shelby GT350 Prototype CSM P This car was put together as a track use demonstrator. It features a 624HP supercharged engine, premium interior with Recaro seats, gauges, and 6 piston Wilwood brakes in the front and 4 piston calipers in the rear. 30 2007 Shelby GT Prototype CSM - 07GT02P This car is a company demonstrator and development car. It was featured in much of the original sales and promotional materials. There was a white Shelby GT and a black one. Ford Motor company used it during the original promotion shots taken at the Valley of Fire, dry lake bed and at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Once its work was done it was featured in our Museum at the speedway. It was then the first production Shelby to receive a wide body modification and it was again featured in the sales literature to promote Wide Body modifications and the parts kit. 32 Shelby Daytona Coupe CSM - CSX9950 In honor of Shelby American winning the FIA World Sportscar Championship in 1965, Shelby built 50 Daytona Coupes to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the achievement. This 50th Anniversary Daytona Coupe, badged CSX9950, was one of two cars unveiled during the cars release in Monterey, CA in It has since been on display in the Shelby Heritage Center in Las Vegas and on the road at various Shelby shows and events. CSX9950 is an aluminum bodied car with a mirror like polish finish, and brushed La Mans style striping.
