2 Company Berkeley Magnetics Inc. was founded in 1985 and headquartered in San Jose, California to serve the electronic industry that saw rapid development of application of magnetic components. Berkeley Magnetics Inc., BMI, is a well-known specialist in design and manufacture of custom magnetics mainly in the power supply and telecommunication industry. We offer quick turnaround in production and design. As BMI has been recognized for their design capabilities, our customers and engineers have found it helpful and convenient to get BMI involved at the conceptual stage of their products. Custom designed engineering samples are provided at no charge in most cases. Engineering BMI s engineers have a concrete understanding of High Frequency Magnetics. We provide consultation with our customers in establishing and defining the specifications required. We also offer recommendations for modifications or design alternatives to achieve specific parameter enhancements and low cost improvements. Products BMI has capabilities to run low quantity pre-production batches to high quantity volume productions. Manufacturing is offered locally and offshore to avail of lower cost products in this competitive market. Our products are routinely 100% tested for the more common parameters, such as turns ratio, inductance and dielectric withstanding voltage.

We also provide our own molds and tools for special bobbins and mounting bases required in custom designs of transformers and inductors. Manufacturing is located both at our headquarters in San Jose, California as well as Mainland China and India to achieve aggressive pricing in this competitive market. Test & Quality BMI is committed to maintaining high product quality from design to in-process stage onto finished product. Each Part is Tested 100% for typical parameters: Inductance Turns ratio and phase Dielectric Withstanding Voltage (Hipot) Any other parameters as required by customer
