5 NYS Role Provides funding for Solarize Westchester administration. For all PV installations (not just Solarize) Offers incentives for solar installations (installers must meet NYS requirements to be able to offer incentives) Tax credit for solar installations

Develop and offer marketing materials and tools. Administer program. Also working with towns on streamlined solar permitting and removing zoning barriers. Solarize Westchester is a collaboration of Energy Improvement Corporation, Abundant Efficiency, Sustainable Westchester, SmartPower, Croton Energy Group, Pace Law School.

Best Energy Power was selected to serve Ossining Briarcliff for commercial installations. Residents and business owners can seek bids / sign contracts with any other solar installers at any time (but those installations won t count towards the tiered pricing).
