All of the items are designed and produced at our UK manufacturing facility using the latest techniques in engineering. Our mission statement is: To manufacture and market operating theatre equipment to the highest standards of materials, workmanship, innovation and after sales servicing and support; to understand our customers, their needs and moreover the solution. Following this policy we have developed product ranges and aspects of these products which are unique to Anetic Aid. The products compiled in this brochure reflect our on-going commitment to these principles. All of our products are manufactured to a documented in-house quality control procedure, individually inspected and guaranteed for five years against any defects in materials or workmanship. We use only British Standard recommended gauges of 304 stainless steel. All our tubing is 1.5mm thick and the shelves of our instrument trolleys are 2.0mm thick and finished with a fine 240 grit smooth grain. Most of our range is electropolished to produce a smooth surface which means that it is less likely that any matter such as dirt or bacteria will adhere to the surface of the steel. Where this isn t an option - on such products as transfusion pole stands and stool bases, we use a low-friction Teflon coating which reduces the incidence of corrosion, and again helps to keep surfaces clean. A further development is the fitting of high-strength plastic-bodied castors to items in the furniture range, again these do not suffer corrosion like traditional steel bodied models. All our Instrument Trolleys have fixed down-turned shelves, come complete with stainless steel bright polished frames and use only British Standard recommended gauge 304 stainless steel. 4 Surgeon s Seating Stands Surgeon s Stools & Chairs Our gas-lift stools are made in a modular design which allows customers to choose the exact specifications to meet their needs. They are foot-operated, which allows adjustment without compromising the sterile field. We have maintained a simple form by enclosing the mechanism inside a moulded cover and all metalwork is mirror polished with a specialist heavy duty Teflon coated finish on the base. Pressure Care pads are fitted as standard. Stands We supply 2 types of Stand. A lightweight 5 star based version with superb mobility and a cast iron based version with exceptional stability. Both versions incorporate several important features rarely found on other transfusion stands on the market. These include solid stainless steel poles, an easy-tohandle chuck and collet locking mechanism, drainage at the base of the column to prevent fluid build-up and spring damping on the pole. There is a specialist heavy duty Teflon coated finish on the lightweight base and a unique Acrylic capped antibacterial cover to the heavy base version.
