Designed with ergonomics in mind, the Guardian s LOW GROUND-TO-FLOOR HEIGHT helps reduce injuries and insurance claims. The absence of steps allows drivers to quickly identify products at ground level. 3 LIGHTWEIGHT BUILT TO LAST WITHOUT THE ADDED WEIGHT & D U R A B L E Floor Strength The durable composite truck body floor is supported by steel cross members that are completely embedded in urethane foam and covered with a fiberglass sub-pan for maximum protection against destructive road chemicals. Interior Liner Protection The walls and ceiling are lined with FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic). Every seam is glassed and sealed by experienced technicians to lock out moisture. Stainless Steel Bumper The durable yet lightweight Guardian bolt-on bumper is easy to replace and resists corrosion. The design provides an extra backdrop area for customer branding. Encapsulated Cross Sills The sealed protective sub floor finish protects the cross members and insulation from moisture intrusion, impact and corrosion.

4 ERGONOMICLARGER Lean Functional Design with & F U N C T I O N A L INTERIOR CAPACITY Exterior Roof-Mounted Condensing Unit Optimizes freezer space so customers can deliver more every time. The redesign of the compressor housing is a game changing improvement. Low Ground-to-Floor Height Picking products at ground height eliminates the need for side steps and reduces potential for injury. We are proud to offer this as a standard safety feature. Body Tie-Down System The Guardian s tie-down angles are welded to the body long stringers. Angles are then fastened to the chassis frame with grade 8, 5/8" flanged hex bolts. Johnson s tie-down system is extremely secure and low maintenance; it eliminates U-bolts, U-bolt maintenance, filler strip compression, rot and kick-out. Automotive Door Latch Design (Patented) The custom engineered, sleek, automotive design reduces mass and weight. The polymer door handles eliminate corrosion for years of maintenance-free service. 5 OPTIONS Courtesy Exterior Lighting Illuminates products for quick and efficient product picking, highlights body signage and makes the truck body more visible to other vehicles. Rain Gutters Minimize rain from getting in the truck body or on the driver. Door-Pull Straps An ergonomic option that reduces range of motion when closing the door. Exterior Product Shelf The aluminum, pull-down product shelf is a place to stage product and/or place it in a delivery tote or bag. Back-Up Camera Helps prevent injuries and accidents. Keyless Locking System These electronic, automatic door locks operated with a key fob lock all truck body doors and the truck cab with a click of a button. This feature is ideal for helping reduce theft and keeping products secure during the route. Body Lock-Out Switch A key-operated switch locks product compartments and keeps products secure during routine equipment maintenance.

6 THERMALLYEFFICIENT Advanced insulating methods achieve MAXIMUM THERMAL PERFORMANCE Wall & Roof Construction Johnson uses a strong, pultruded thermal break as an integral part of its panel design. The non-heat-conducting thermal break adds significant strength to the entire panel. OPTIONS Doors The standard Guardian is a 4x4, with four doors per side for a total of eight doors, each with clear permanent-mount strip curtains to help save energy and maintain the temperaturecontrolled environment. The whisper-quiet AE100 cold plate system has more than 50 years of proven reliability. The system requires very little maintenance, no fuel for operation and has zero CO 2 emissions. The AE100 has few moving parts which helps extend the life of the refrigeration system to match the long life of the truck body. Mechanical refrigeration is also available.
