It also offers versatility in main breaker, main lug, universal and single-sided narrow configurations. But where the SafeT panelboard sets itself apart is in innovations for safety and ease of use that have been long awaited in the low voltage electrical distribution industry. It offers versatility with two types of incoming positions and a variety of heights perfect for all applications. The ReliaGear SafeT switchboard interior is a UL Recognized component and can simply be added to an existing UL891 file holder. 8 8 RELIAGEAR SAFET INTERIORS SafeT switchboard interiors Adding to existing UL file The ReliaGear SafeT interiors enable an OEM to add a ready-to-install distribution section to their existing UL891 file with the benefits of: IP20 finger-safe bus stack for increased safety in the field Easily install or field swap breakers with a single screw driver Flexibility of design no need to design manufacturer vertical bus or install bolt-on strap kits The OEM is only responsible for the remaining bus connections, frame and enclosure design. Below is a step-by-step guide for initiating the process of adding the ReliaGear SafeT interior to your UL891 file. Step 1: Open a project with your local UL contact or via the UL Request for Quote section on the UL Website. Step 2: Request to add the UL Recognized SafeT interiors to your existing UL891 file with reference to the ABB UL891 file# E Vol 1. Step 3: UL will contact ABB R&D for confirmation. Step 4: OEM to verify main bus construction with UL for final UL891 certification.
