Hopeful to include solar energy into his home energy program, Buzz waited until the cost of solar had become more affordable. His one concern was that he wouldn't be able to install an array because his SIP's roof deck did not have rafters in the way a traditional home does. A custom foot, used to attach the solar array to Buzz's roof deck, was designed and engineered. His house had a complex topographical design, but the installation was able to be placed on four different roof deck's in order to utilize their homes full potential.
