27 Main Objectives: Eastern Interconnection Project As per the decision of seventh JWG/JSC meeting on power sector co-operation between Bangladesh and India a Joint Technical Committee (JTC) was formed to examine and recommend the system requirement/strengthening on the both sides of the border to import 100 MW power in radial mode from Palatana to Eatern Side of Bangladesh.
