27 Main Objectives: Eastern Interconnection Project As per the decision of seventh JWG/JSC meeting on power sector co-operation between Bangladesh and India a Joint Technical Committee (JTC) was formed to examine and recommend the system requirement/strengthening on the both sides of the border to import 100 MW power in radial mode from Palatana to Eatern Side of Bangladesh. To import 100 MW power in radial mode from Palatana to Eastern Side of Bangladesh. To strengthening power exchange capacity on the both sides of the border.
