GENERAL PROVISIONS The warranties described below are provided by Vortex Industries, Inc. ( Vortexx ) to the original purchasers of new Vortexx Pressure Washers from Vortex Industries, Inc. or authorized Vortexx dealers. Under these warranties, Vortexx will repair or replace, at its option, any covered part which is found to be defective in material or workmanship during the applicable warranty term. Warranty service must be performed by a service dealer authorized by Vortex Industries, Inc. to service the type of product involved, which will use only new or remanufactured parts or components furnished by Vortex Industries, Inc. After examination of the part, the service dealer will determine whether the part is eligible for warranty service and if so, whether to repair or replace the parts. Warranty service will be performed without charge to the purchaser for parts. 22 B. WHAT IS WARRANTED All parts of the new Vortexx Pressure Washer frame, excluding paint and tires, are warranted for the life of the product. The engines and pumps are not covered under the Vortex warranties. The engines and pumps are warranted by the manufacturers of the items which warranties are described in separate documents which are provided with each pressure washer. The separate warranty documents from the manufacturers of the engines and pumps are also available on the Vortex website www. vortexxpressurewashers.com and/or from the Vortexx authorized dealers. C. WHAT IS NOT WARRANTED Vortex Industries, Inc. is not responsible for the following: (1) Used Products; (2) Any product that has been altered or modified in ways not approved by Vortexx, including, but not limited to, engine modifications, engine settings, changing or replacement of connectors and fittings, any modification to pumps (see pump and engine manuals for more detail) (3) Depreciation or damage caused by normal wear, lack of reasonable and proper maintenance, failure to follow operating instructions, misuse, lack of proper protection during storage, or accident; (4) Normal maintenance parts and service; (5) Excluded parts including quick couplers, belts, O-rings, filters, tires, plastic fittings, paint, accessory parts including guns, hoses, wands, nozzles and other accessory parts. 23 Warranty Process The best warranty starts before a product leaves the factory. Every Vortexx Pressure Washer is designed to be overbuilt with quality materials and manufacturing process. Examples of this include using Honda engines, the best small engines in the business loaded and tested with high technology Opti-4 lubricants to extend engine life even further. We also build-in extra pump protection mechanisms like oversized unloader bypass systems and brass fittings. Lastly, our Patent Pending frame design is cut and formed from a single piece of laser cut 5052 Aluminum, with no bolts or lose parts to rattle apart. Prior to shipping we start, test and set the optimal pressure and flow settings on every unit to ensure the pressure washer will work correctly the first time and for a long time. However, on the rare occasion defects related to manufacturing may occur, we have designed the Vortexx Warranty Process to be simple for dealers that ultimately take care end users. If unit is covered by the Opti-Lube extended warranty and the original warranty has expired, follow these instructions: Dealer or customers will call Interlube at prior to repair. Interlube will ask for basic customer information, including equipment owner s name, date of purchase, date of failure, etc. Interlube will also ask for proof of customer s Opti-4 oil purchases after the initial Vortexx purchase. At this point Interlube will ask the dealer... From your analysis as to cause of failure, would this be warrantable under the engine manufacturers printed coverage, had it occurred during their original warranty period? If the answer is yes, Interlube will give the dealer an authorization number and instruct them to send the repair bill directly to Interlube. Interlube will pay exactly the same parts and labor charges as the original warranty covers. Opit-4 Terms and Conditions This is only an extension of the manufacturer s warranty period and does not cover any items or working conditions that are not covered under the original warranty. Proper lubrication is critical to the performance and life of your New 4 Cycle Equipment. By exclusively using Opti-4 Four Cycle Lubricant, you will qualify for double warranty on internal engine parts. The Engine Manufacturer will be responsible for the initial warranty period and Interlube will take responsibility for the extended Page 23

To avoid cancellation of extended warranty, proper maintenance as outlined in your owner s manual must be performed specifically, Air Filters must be kept clean, oil must be changed periodically, and oil levels must be monitored to and kept above the add level.
