The university hs three cmpuses. Pingling Cmpus, the min cmpus of the university, is locted ner Yngpu Bridge in the estern urbn district of Shnghi. The university hs quiet nd peceful environment nd hs convenient trnsporttion fcilities. The other cmpuses re respectively in Pudong Science nd Eduction Town nd the Est Guoshun Rod. At present, the totl re of the university is nerly one thousnd Chinese mu (round 67 hectres). The university currently hs ten thousnd full-time students. A lrge number of grdutes re working on the minsty posts of production, opertion, nd mngement in the electric power systems of Chin. The university hs 35 fundmentl nd professionl lbs nd 12 reserch offices. Among them is the ministeril key lbortory of Corrosion nd Protection of Therml Power Equipment from the Stte Grid Corportion of Chin. The mjor, power plnt of therml energy power nd environment engineering, hs been rted s the key cultivtion of subjects for the Shnghi Eductionl Committee. There re more thn 700 stff members in the Shnghi University of Electric Power. Among them, there re bout 150 professors nd ssocite professors.
