Prioritizing and enabling capital improvement projects bicycle and pedestrian facilities and safe routes to schools will reduce emissions once such facilities are constructed. Current adopted bike/ped plans are a prerequisite for many State and Federal capital improvement grants. CNG fueling station in Ryan Ranch for another year.prior AB2766 funding for this station over $700K. Loss of station would increase vehicle emissions. Printing and distributing 1,000-2,000 free maps of bicycle and pedestrian facilities and safe routes to schools in the adopted 2008 Bikeway and Pedestrian Master Plan will further encourage and enable use of bike and walk modes, reducing auto emissions.
