NEW METERS OSC offers several different brands of new socket base watthour meters for manual reading as well as AMR applications. Meter forms are available for all single-phase and three-phase voltages. For AMR systems, we offer meters with k-y-z pulse output, as well as Landis and Gyr meters which incorporate the Aclara MTU RF Transmitter. REFURBISHED AND REMANUFACTURED WATTHOUR METERS OSC offers a broad line of refurbished meters from many different manufacturers. Refurbished electric meters are usually available with shorter lead times and lower costs than new meters. SENSUS ICON REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT PROGRAM We repair Sensus Icon meters which incorporate the internal Aclara MTU. We offer a stock rotation program which allows you to have replacement meters before the old ones are taken out of service. Socket meters are also available with Aclara R type (pulse) MTU attached to the meter. A Page 36

A changing meter for a changing market: The S4e maintains its flexibility with a FLASH technology programmable microprocessor. Field re-programmability via the ANSI standard type II optical port preserves your investment with the evolving requirements of the ANSI protocol, and changing demands of the market. The S4e incorporates 128k of on-board memory storage for load profile, self-reads, and event logs providing an easy upgrade path without the need for an additional option board. Load profile can be configured for up to 15 channels of information from a choice of 24 different storage metrics. The build-a-meter concept provides modular growth in the S4e with software upgrades for time of use, reactive energy metering, transformer loss compensation, load profile as well as the flexibility of adding any combination of communication and relay option boards.
