4 The needs in truck parking areas The actions in progress : - on the public network new parking spaces to be created by 2030 studies to be carried out for a better knowledge of private supply - on the concessionaries network Every 5 years, contracts are negotiated with motorway concessionary companies regarding the improvement of exiting network the next contracts will take into account construction of new parking spaces e.g. ASF by

8 The french ministry for transports : - has acknowledged the benefits of these new services - has determined pending questions - has set up an experimental policy The contracts signed between ministry and motorway concessionaries for the improvement of their network will include the development of truck parking sites 8 88
