3 RCA No. 122 Second Revision Sheet No. 184 First Revision Sheet No OTHER TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION SERVICE (continued) A. Conditions of Temporary Construction Service From Service Connection (continued) The Utility will bill customers for the water service it has provided according to the actual period service was received for unmetered customers, or for the quantity of water consumed for metered customers, as applicable. Bills will be determined as provided under Rule 13.2, Rate Schedule No. 2 - Recurring Service Charges, Schedule A, B or C, as appropriate. The customer will not provide or make water available to any other lot or location. B. Only those hydrants so designated are available for use in temporary construction service. Except where the Utility determines that a substantial risk of freezing is not prevalent, the Utility will supply temporary summer water service from a fire hydrant only between May 1 and October 15. The Utility will supply temporary winter water service from a fire hydrant between October 16 and April 30 under additional protocols for meter care that mitigate risk of adverse effects to the Utility s system. The customer shall discontinue the permitted use immediately upon revocation of the permit and immediately return the meter and permit sticker to the Utility. Failure to return a meter and permit sticker to the Utility within ten (10) business days of the permit being revoked shall be grounds for the Utility not to refund the meter deposit. A permit will not be issued to an applicant for this service who has a delinquent account for a similar service. 1. The customer shall complete a Fire Hydrant Use Permit form, as provided at the end of Rule 15, stating the estimated quantity of water to be used, the type of project, and any other information that the Utility determines to be necessary.
