Expanded to include coverage for Auxiliary Power Units (APU s) in 1980, MSP remains the most comprehensive support program offered anywhere in the world today. This efficient and cost-effective program offers a practical alternative for managing future APU maintenance expenses. The contract term is sixty (60) months; it may be renewed for additional terms upon expiration. Additionally, the program is fully transferable (a valuable asset is being accrued which is recoverable at the time of aircraft sale). MSP is available to operators of either new or used APU s. 2

Honeywell s MSP... Ever Increasing the Value of Your Aircraft An MSP Contract term is sixty (60) months and may be renewed for additional terms upon expiration. The availability of such followon contracts assures the operator of continued MSP coverage and ever increasing equity throughout the entire service life of the aircraft. 3

4 Leading the Industry in Maintenance Coverage MSP operators receive financial coverage for scheduled major APU maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, and service bulletin updates. Also, to minimize an MSP operator s downtime during extended periods of maintenance, rental APU s are available at no additional cost to the MSP operator. Scheduled Maintenance Parts for Routine Periodic (Intermediate) Inspections, including consumable parts, reworked parts, new parts, and all component repair labor are assumed by MSP. Combustion and Exhaust (Hot) Section Periodic Inspections (HSI s) are also covered under scheduled maintenance guidelines. As with Routine Periodic Inspections, all parts are assumed by MSP. This includes new and reworked components, consumables and cycle life-limited parts. Likewise, all labor charges associated with performing an HSI will be assumed by MSP when accomplished by a Honeywell Authorized APU Service Center. Unscheduled Maintenance Coverage for unscheduled maintenance, up to and including complete overhauls, is another major benefit to MSP participation. Again, all parts and all repair labor are covered. Component rework, line replaceable units (LRU s) and exchange APU s are all provided under MSP. Additionally, ten (10) hours of troubleshooting labor are allowed. Based on availability and the extent of repairs needed, rental APU s may be provided at special MSP rates to minimize downtime. Service Bulletin Updates Service Bulletin updates are covered by MSP, thereby constantly modernizing an operator s engine to the latest state-of-the-art configuration. All parts and all labor associated with Alert Service Bulletins are covered by MSP. Recommended Service Bulletins will also be incorporated into an MSP APU under program guidelines. Optional Service Bulletins are normally incorporated at the operator s request and sole expense. 4

6 Enrollment... Quick and Easy Enrollment into MSP is quick, easy and as simple as making a phone call. Purchasers of new aircraft equipped with a new GTCP36-100/-150, RE100, and RE220 APU are entered into the program at no charge. Additionally, if the new APU is enrolled in conjunction with new TFE731 Propulsion Engines, MSP shall be free of charge during the first 2000 aircraft operating hours. If the new aircraft is not TFE powered, a 25% discount to the normal hourly rate will apply during the first 2000 aircraft operating hours. Operators enrolling APU s having more than 100 TSN hours of operation recorded may incur an enrollment fee, the amount being determined by recent maintenance history, TSN/TSO, and the MSP hourly rate in effect at that time. As a benefit to operators of higher time APU s, which recently received an HSI by an Honeywell Authorized Service Center, and conditional on all service bulletins listed in the latest Minimum Modification Standard having been incorporated, a waiver to the normal enrollment fee may be available. Once enrollment is finalized, MSP operators are eligible to receive immediate worldwide full service under the provisions of the MSP contract.
