18 Conclusion and Outlook Yearly energy demand of the HOCHBAHN bus fleet: 132 GWh ( metro) Peak power demand for all bus depots have been identified: 3.2 MW MW Immediate charging might result in a lower peak load than continuous charging 150 kw could not be enough for articulated buses with long services Standing time of buses is reduced by 30%... 70% The options are manifold: Change length and structure of services, move services or buses from one depot to another, use H 2, opportunity charging, load management,...
