4 The tramway plan is expected to consists of two lines: Line 1 is confirmed and will be the main scope of the construction tender; Line 2 might be in scope potentially Tramway infrastructure map Line kilometres of track 26 stations Covered by existing funding from Ministry of Transport, Odense Communality, and Region of Southern Denmark Line 2 Additional 7km of track At least 2 additional stations Funding not decided 4
5 The Line 1 of the tramway is expected to have a total length of 14.4km connecting major development areas to the city centre Line 1 key facts The project was formally launched in 2010 and the target is to start the operation of the tramway in 2020 The Line 1 of the tramway is expected to have a total length of 14.4km connecting major development areas to the city centre An expected total of 26 stations on the line from Tarup in the north to Hjallese in the south Departure planned for every 10 min from all stations Travel time North to South in approximately 42 min Link to bus network, regional and intercity trains Operational 5am to 1am every day 35,000 passenger journeys on weekdays is expected 1 million passenger journeys per month is expected Around12 tram vehicles in a fleet A tram vehicle is approx. 30m long and 2.65m width 14.4 kilometres Every 10 minutes 26 stations 35k Passengers journeys / day Fly-over video click to watch 42 min N S 1m Passengers journeys/month 5

(incl. CW items marked *) Stations/platforms Surfacing Design Rolling stock Approx. 14 trams with a length of approx. 30m Railway service vehicles Rolling stock maintenance equipment for the CMC facility Design Options for the RS package: Maintenance regime for maintenance services (to be exercised by O&M Contractor) Additional 1-20 (one to twenty) trams The contract includes all operations and maintenance of the entire Odense Tramway System for a period of 8 years Operation Entire tramway system Training Maintenance Maintenance regime in excess of those supplied by TS and RS packages according to options exercised Options for the O&M package: Extension of contract for additional 7 (seven) years Options for TS package: Maintenance regime for maintenance services (to be exercised by O&M Contractor) Systems scalability Notes: * Also included in TS package OCS = Overhead Contact System AVLS = Auto Vehicle Location System CMC = Control and Maintenance Centre OCC = Operation and Control Centre SCADA = Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition
