2 UniSec Introduction AIR-INSULATED MEDIUM VOLTAGE SWITCHGEAR FOR SECONDARY DISTRIBUTION UP TO kv, 0A, 2 ka The UniSec Switchgear panels are under the license of ABB. They are produced in the factory of Metix, located in the town of Petrich, Bulgaria. The switch-disconnectors and breakers are supplied by Metix, produced by ABB. The assembled panels are factory tested in the Metix before packaging and shipment. Each panel is provided with test protocol and design documentation. Installation and operation manuals are available. Metix provides warranty service and support. After the expiration of warranty period, maintenance services can be contracted. UniSec switchgear features - Air insulation of all live parts - SF6 switch-disconnector - Removable vacuum and SF6 circuit breakers - LSC2A-PM classification for panels with switch-disconnector, in accordance with the loss of service continuity definitions and IEC standards - Complete range of functional units and accessories - Wide choice of state-of-the-art protection relays, either integrated on circuit-breakers or mounted separately for protection, control and measurement functions Available versions - Arc fault tested in accordance with standard IEC in the IAC AFL arc proof version on two sides (front and lateral). ka and IAC AFLR arc proof version on three sides (front, lateral, rear). ka, 16 ka and 21 ka; - Seismic withstand version in accordance with standard IEEE Marine version.
