It was not long before he spotted an opportunity and, with a loan from his father, set up a business supplying nails and ironmongery to the booming packing case industry. He also added to his range, horse shoes and farrier s sundries. Throughout London, the name of F.H.Brundle became synonymous with quality and competitive prices.
