6 BUFFALO DC : power, ruggedness and compactness BUFFALO DC SAF s BUFFALO 400 DC, 500 DC and 650 DC can withstand the most difficult working conditions (tropical climate, high relative humidity, etc). Combining power with safety, the BUFFALO 400 DC, 500 DC and 650 DC can cope with all arc and TIG welding and gouging applications, even when you have to use long welding cables (outdoor work, on site, pipeline laying and shipbuilding, etc). Using thyristor technology, all welding parameters are held constant with mains supply maintained within tolerance limits of ± 15%. For welding in the wide open spaces Gouging : the BUFFALO 400 DC, 500 DC and 650 DC offer exceptional gouging performance: 6 mm Ø electrode (BUFFALO 400 DC), 8 mm Ø electrode (BUFFALO 500 DC), 13 mm Ø electrode (BUFFALO 650 DC). These units can also be stacked and connected in parallel, reducing their footprint
