4 Local Inventory & Product Modification Capabilities Based in Denver, our warehouse is designed to facilitate quick shipment for standard products with many orders shipped within 24 hours. Additionally, recognizing that standard products do not address each customer s needs, START s warehouse is designed to assemble and customize lighting solutions to ensure customer lighting needs are met quickly and cost-effectively. START s agility in order fulfillment ensures your delivery needs are met on a timely basis. We ve also designed our warehouse so that we can quickly modify products when the need arises. Want to change out the chip? Done. Want a different lens? Done. Engineered Lighting Solutions There are times when off-the-shelf products do not meet your needs. Whether it is due to the physical environment, the need for specific light levels, the available power sources or another reason. We can: Customize the board Change the voltage. 46 Our Warranty W her e Inno v a tiv e De sign START Lighting LED fixtures and replacement lamps are covered by either a 5 year or 3 year limited warranty from the date of purchase. START Lighting Inc. warrants these products to be free of defects in workmanship and/or material. START Lighting will replace or refund any units found to be defective within the first 59 months (5 year Warranted Product) or 35 months (3 year Warranted Product) from the date of delivery. START Lighting s liability under this warranty is limited to replacement or refund of the lamp and/or fixture. Before returning the fixture or replacement lamp, the customer must call START Lighting s Customer Service at for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. The START Lighting Customer Service Representative will at that time make appropriate arrangements for the return of the product. The product under warranty must be sent freight pre-paid by the customer to the address below along with the printed customer RMA statement. NOTE: Verification of purchase may be required. Failure to exercise the above RMA Policy Actions and Procedures will VOID all warranty responsibilities on behalf of START Lighting. START Lighting will not be liable for defects due to improper handling, misuse, negligence, accidents, acts of God or nature, exposure to casualty of elements, or unauthorized alteration/repair, electrical current fluctuations. The Buyer shall accept the Terms by either confirming the Sales Order Confirmation in writing (letter or ) or by accepting Products shipped. START Lighting, Inc. will confirm orders in writing. If the Products are unavailable, START Lighting, Inc. may substitute comparable Products. References to Products herein are intended to refer to lamps, fixtures, parts and other goods sold by START Lighting, Inc.. Prices All prices shown are in U.S. dollars, F.O.B. shipping point, and include START Lighting Inc. standard packaging material. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice. Taxes and Special Fees Any sales use or other tax that may be imposed upon the sale or use of goods or any special fees required to complete the sale will be in addition to the quoted prices and will be paid by the Purchaser. Shipping Shipments will be made by common carrier at the purchaser s risk. All lamp orders greater than $1, will be shipped freight allowed (does not include shipping outside the contiguous United States). Special shipment requests such as next day air, etc., will be accommodated in the best way possible, with Purchaser paying for all charges. Payment arrangements must be made prior to shipment. For same day shipping, orders must be submitted by 11am MST. Any orders submitted after 11am MST will be shipped the next business day, pending payment arrangements. Terms of Payment START Lighting Inc. accepts all major credit cards, checks, wire transfers and can set up terms upon request OAC. Terms are net 30 days (On Approved Credit) from date of invoice unless stated otherwise. Late Payment A service charge of 1.5% per month, not to exceed the maximum rate allowed by law, will be added to any portion of Purchaser s outstanding balance, which is not paid within 30 days after invoice date. (Credit Approval process can take up to 7 business days or more). Delivery and Risk of Loss Delivery Date Delivery dates are approximate and based on conditions at the time of acceptance of order. START Lighting Inc. assumes no responsibility for failure to deliver on or about such dates. Risk of Loss Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, delivery shall be complete upon transfer of possession to a common carrier.
