LOW HOISTS With hoists mounted to the lower side beam, the operator can easily see the winding of the wire rope and can perform needed maintenance without having to rent a man lift. STRUCTURE The main frame s high-strength, low alloy steel and formed boxsection column design maximizes the crane s durability. SPACIOUS CAB With square feet (5.5 sq m) of glass, 19.8 square feet (1.8 sq m) of floor space, and 74 inches (1.9 m) of headroom, the spacious cab provides exceptional operator visibility. In addition, the 180 degree indexable seat position, the fully proportional finger-tip controls, and adjustable seat and armrest allow for greater ergonomics and operator comfort. A fully integrated ladder and access platform are included as standard. Emergency Shutdown Emergency Shutdown controls are located at each corner of the crane and allow ground personnel around the crane s perimeter to stop the crane if unsafe conditions occur. Hydraulic Oil Cooler The Hydraulic Oil Cooler maintains the hydraulic oil temperature allowing the crane to work more efficiently at higher duty cycles and in harsh work environments maximizing component life. GREASE FITTINGS Grease fittings on sheaves and pivot points remove contaminants that accelerate bearing wear by flushing out fine dust and dirt, increasing the life of the bearings. Cantilever Wheel Frames and Planetary Direct Drives Shuttlelift s Cantilever Wheel Frame design provides increased efficiency as tires need to be serviced or replaced. This, in conjunction with planetary direct drives provide precision drive control when traveling. POWDER-COATED CARBON STEEL HYDRAULIC TUBING Powder-Coated Carbon Steel Hydraulic Tubing and zinc plated bolts and pins means that our fasteners resist corrosion and oxidation when exposed to the elements. ALL WHEEL ELECTRONIC STEERING Shuttlelifts s patented All Wheel Electronic Steering provides maximum flexibility, maneuverability and precision handling while operating in confined spaces. Steering modes include 2-Wheel, 4-Wheel, Crab, Carousel, Transverse and Coordinate steering. INCREASED GRADEABILITY Shuttlelift provides Increased Gradeability through additional wheel motors that allow its DB Series gantry cranes to travel over inclined surfaces. This increases the crane s traveling efficiency, and allows you to maximize your yard space by utilizing areas once deemed unusable. WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL Our Wireless Remote Control increases operator visibility of the load, improving operational safety and ensuring maximum maneuverability. The remote is laid out in the same format as the backup operator cab controls for an extra measure of efficiency and safety. Auxiliary Power Hoist System (APHS) The Auxiliary Power Hoist System (APHS) provides two independently powered hoists per beam (for a total of four) allowing you to rotate products from the vertical position to a horizontal position, or vise versa. This will make moving and storing loads faster and more efficient. WIRELESS LOAD READ-OUT Our Wireless Load Read-Out is available with two or four hooks depending on the need and application. The display provides load weight information eliminating the need to weigh the load prior to lifting. (Cab read-out and wireless remote read-out are sold separately.) Automatic Variable Throttle (AVT) With Shuttlelift s Automatic Variable Throttle (AVT), built-in programming automatically adjusts engine speed to draw only the power you need to complete the task at hand, significantly reducing fuel consumption, engine and component wear.
