3 Rolling bearings For many years, we have developed, manufactured and supplied our customers with standard and special roller bearings with bore diameters spanning from 120 mm s up to outer diameters about 2,500 mm s with weights ranging anywhere from a few kilograms to several tons. The range of rolling bearings produced by PSL includes: Single-row, double-row and multi-row tapered roller bearings Spherical roller bearings Single-row, double-row and multi-row cylindrical roller bearings Ball, cylindrical and tapered roller thrust bearings Toroidal roller bearings Special roller bearings are custom designed for a particular application and targeted operational loads pursuant to customer requirements. We deploy the latest computing methodologies, procedures and programs during the bearing design activities. Optimized bearing design and dimensions ensure efficient utilization of materials while always keeping costs at a minimum. Bearing components are produced from high-quality carburized and through hardened bearing-grade steel supplied by globally renown manufacturers. ROLLING BEARINGS 3

4 Slew drive systems PSL slew drives rely on traditional gear slewing bearings combined with either an open or covered case and worm or spur drive. One element of the slew drive system is formed by the worm itself, which allows continuous or cyclical rotation of a connected device by means of the gear ring. A hydraulic or electric motor can serve as an alternative drive unit. Structural designs based on the selection of the best straight, helical or globoid gears made of steel or bronze take into account the requirements of the load size and operational accuracy of the slew drive itself. 5 Slewing bearings The production range of PSL slewing bearings comprise almost two thousand unique models designed on targeted specifications according to the highly specific requirements of our customers ranging in size anywhere from an outer diameter 180 mm s up to 4,000 mm s. Characteristic features of PSL slewing rings: Gear: external, internal, or gearless models Bearing elements: balls or rollers Single-row, double-row and multi-row cylindrical roller bearings with radial-axial arrangement Hardened raceways and gears Fixing holes in outer and/or inner bearing rings Cages, spacers or bearings with a full complement of rolling elements Sealed inside space with grease filling Slewing bearings are produced from high quality steel suitable for surface hardening of bearing raceways and gears. 6 High precision bearings for machine tools PSL offers a wide range of precision bearings designed for highly demanding applications such as rotary fixing, clamping and positioning tables of machine tools, as well as in measuring, testing and medical equipment: Crossed tapered roller bearings Crossed cylindrical or tapered roller bearings with integrated gearing RT-series axial-radial cylindrical roller bearings Bearing design enables the transfer of radial and axial loads as well as tilting moment. Models of bearings are designed based on industry standard specifications, however these bearing designs may also be customized and adapted to the specific requirements of the customer.
