2 Coupling determination Base-part coupling Front-part coupling When determining the coupling, there are two choices you have to make. Which base-part is mounted on the machine and which front-part is coupled to the trolley. On the right is the explanation of the base-part and the front-part. On pages and 4 there are flowcharts for determining which parts are needed. Starting on page 5 there are the drawings where the dimensions of the coupling can be filled in. On page the rest of the specifications and the standard couplings can be found The type of base-part te be used is depending on the machine and on the hight of the connection with the trolley. The base-part includes the hinge point to ensure a flexible connection between machine and trolley. The front-part must fit to the trolley frame Each type of front-part can be mounted to every base-part There are 6 front-part types. On page and 4 there are flowcharts that can be used to determine which front-part is needed to connect to the trolley. If the front of the trolley is flat (fig. ), use the flowchart at page. 11 Standard couplings Customer specific couplings Table on page contains the standard couplings of Movexx. Including the dimensions. Important to know is that dim. is the dimension of the tube at which the coupling needs to be connected. The standard that Movexx follows is tubesize + mm. This means that when the tubesize is 0mm, Dim. has to be mm. If no standard coupling to your application is available, then you can choose a customer specific coupling. You need to complete the drawing of the appropriate coupling type. In the table on page you find the prices of the customer specific couplings.
