1 Rally Guide and Bulletin 1 Welcome to the Midnattssolsrallyt HISTORIC RALLY Welcome to this year s event! We ask you to help us to make this rally run with as few as possible administrative problems, please read earlier published documents! If you have any questions please call us! When you arrive at Vimmerby please do as follows: 1. Unload your competing car at the trailer park; follow the signs Trailerparkering. 2. Then follow than the signs and drive your service car and competing car to the service area. And the marshals will guide you to your service area. And you will receive a map over the service area and a key map. 3. And then go to the Rally Info and do your entry, see the key map. 4. Make your competing car ready for scrutineering according to the time schedule in the time table. The following chances and amendments have been done to the supplementary Historic Rally. We would also like to remind you of some important things. The Swedish text is binding. 3) Clerk of the course Add: Dept. Clerk of the Course Emmelie Andersson ) Running of the event The total length of rally is changed to 837 km with 184 km on 16 SS. Historic Rally starts in seeded order. Adjustable starting time is applicable. Re-seeding according to the results of leg 1 and 2 are applicable. It is prohibited to use any kind of pace-notes. There will be some PC-controls along the route and it is mandatory to pass this controls. If any control-stamp is missing, this will lead to disqualification. 11) Time Schedule Delete: Wednesday 28 th June Mandatory drivers meeting at the Service Parc.

The starting number and the advertising have to be mounted. The presence of the driver and co-driver is mandatory. Adjustable starting time is applicable. Re-seeding: The re-seeding is based on the results after leg 1 and 2. 14) Advertising

4 The organizers advertising have to be placed at the front wings, the window screen, the front part of the hood and one meter on the front doors. The advertising will be given to you at reporting. All advertising have to be mount before scrutineering. The window screen streamer has to be placed on the upper part of the window and nowhere else. No other advertising than the streamer is allowed at the window. If our car has a very small window and not room enough please contact the organizer. 16) Others At the arrival in Vimmerby, follow the signs and go to the trailer parc (Trailerparkering) first. N.B! No competing cars on trailers at the service area at all. Traffic insurance is mandatory for cars taking part in the rally. Cars ensured by a non-swedish company must have a for Sweden valid third party insurance. This has to be confirmed by an international insurance card (a so called Green Card). Cars from a country not included in this insurance system, must sign a special insurance at the Swedish border. Parc Fermé: No Parc Fermé after leg 1 and 2. After finish on Saturday 1 st July the cars have to be placed in Parc Fermé until the final results are published, plus 30 minutes protest time. No competing car may leave the service area between the finish of one leg/section and the start of the next leg/section. Service in only permitted if it is allowed according to the Road book. At every service the cars have to a tarpaulin, underneath the car and cover at least the area of the car. At the service parcs is it not allowed to wash the car. It allowed, by driver and co-driver, to use tools and spare parts brought along in the car to repair the car along the route. It is allowed to re-fuel at petrol stations along the route. Competitors may place the car in a guarded area each evening. The car may be collected earliest 30 minutes before the team s starting time.
