13 WPT SYSTEM AT VEDECOM POWER ELECTRONICS 13 Associated Power Electronics Depending on how the capacitors are connected to the coils, there are four basic compensation topologies, which are series-series (SS), seriesparallel (SP), parallel-parallel (PP), parallel-series (PS). Our focus New power electronics structures in primary and secondary sides New power electronics devices (SiC, GaN) Cooling system design

14 WPT SYSTEM AT VEDECOM Dynamic Charging Control 14 Electric road design Only the ground coils lying below the vehicle must be fed in order to limit the magnetic radiation of the road. Several solution to detect the vehicle using sensors have been tested. Detection algorithms In our studies, we try to demonstrate the feasibility of the WPT without any communication between the primary and the secondary side using observers.

18 SIMULATION AND EXPERIMENTAL TESTS EXPERIMENTAL SETUP 18 A WPT experimental test bench is available at VEDECOM institute in order to validate the different research activities. The prototype is dedicated to fit the TWIZY vehicle, the maximum coils size is 50cm. We fixed the air gap at 15 cm.
