7 Module Programming Page 7 RUN SAFE When enabled, run safe will turn off the car engine if a door is opened. To disable run safe, press the UNLOCK button on the remote. Run safe will auto-enable 5 seconds after all doors are closed, and it will also enable if a LOCK command is sent. To perform take over, run safe must be disabled and the key must be inside the vehicle. Note that for Type, Takeover is not possible. The vehicle will shut down if a door is opened. Refer to the LED Diagnostics section on page 8 for more information and for troubleshooting purposes. 1 If connected in DD: Connect the -pin DD and the 0-pin harnesses. If connected in WW: Connect the 0-pin harness. Caution! The 0-pin connector can be easily plugged in backwards. The LED turns ON solid. -pin 0-pin On Solid Connect 3 5 one or both of the other -pin harnesses, depending on the requirements of each installation types. Make sure the key is inside the vehicle. Press the Push-to-Start button twice to turn the ignition ON without pressing on the brake pedal. The LED will stay ON solid for 3 seconds, then turn OFF. For Type, the LED will flash, then turn ON for 3 seconds before turning OFF. Press the Push-to-Start button once more to turn the ignition OFF. The module is programmed and ready to use. Resetting the Module 1 3 Disconnect the module from any power source. Press and HOLD the Integrated Programming Button (IPB). While holding the button, connect the module to the power source. PUSH Wait until the red LED flashes once and release the Integrated Programming Button (IPB). Press x ENGINE START STOP -pin & Press & Hold HOLD On x3 Secs PUSH Key Inside the Vehicle & Press 1x & ENGINE START STOP Off Disconnect from Power & Flashes x1 Connect to Power Release
