WHAT WE DO Established in 1999, Plantforce is a progressive plant hire company based in Somerset, covering an extensive area across the Southwest and South Wales.

4 WHAT WE DO Established in 1999, Plantforce is a progressive plant hire company based in Somerset, covering an extensive area across the Southwest and South Wales. Plantforce has one of the most diverse excavator fleets in the country and, with over 18m invested in its fleet, Plantforce can offer you the best selection of self-drive or operated plant hire equipment and first class customer care. We have over 650 machines in our fleet and over 450 of them are excavators. All our excavators (3 ton 52 ton) have fully automatic hydraulic quick hitches, breaker circuits and various combinations including off- set booms, blades, rubber pads, zero tail swing and long reach equipment. We can also provide telehandlers, rollers, earth moving equipment, such as loading shovels and dozers and an array of demolition equipment. Alongside an extensive range of excavators Plantforce also has its own attachments division. With over 150 attachments, we can provide anything from a breaker to suit a 3 ton excavator up to a multi-processor to suit a demo-spec 52 ton excavator. 8 HEALTH AND SAFETY Health and Safety is fundamental to all Plantforce Business Decisions Plantforce recognises our customers requirements to continually improve site Health and Safety standards and strives to meet or exceed these expectations. We have our own in-house qualified Health & Safety Manager and are proud to have had our Quality and Safety Management Systems externally accredited to ISO 9001 and OHSAS standards. Our commitment is reflected over the whole value chain, from the information available from the Hire Desk, the supply of trained and competent operators, the selection of the equipment and the way the equipment is delivered, serviced and maintained. As subscribers to the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and active members of the Construction Plant Association (CPA), Plantforce are always at the forefront of new developments and ensure our staff are trained in the latest techniques. Plantforce have a very robust selection process when selecting new hire products, including our attachment fleet. Key considerations are reducing vibration, noise and particulate emissions. We are able to provide full plant safety and environmental specifications to allow our customers meet their own exacting requirements.
