1 South Dallas-Waxahachie Corridor Strategy Meeting June 2, 2009

2 Project Mission Provide additional transportation choices connecting major activity centers in Dallas County and Ellis County by efficiently developing safe, fiscally sound, environmentally conscious and regionally supported mobility improvement projects that support economic opportunities for the region.

3 Project Goals & Objectives Provide an alternative form of transportation for the southern Dallas-Fort Worth region Reduce peak period congestion on nearby roadway facilities Improve reliability of transportation system Improve regional air quality
