12 Aim of ECODAT Offer structured and comprehensive approach, based on working documents and explanatory notes Increase transparency and reliability by homogenously applied tool (all parties) Improve tracability including documentation on origin of data and rules of aggregation / comparison with default data Facilitate and accelerate data collection / presentation process Ease/stimulate data transfer to IIASA/RAINS
