Retrofitting is normally a viable option, for air conditioning, GPU (ground power unit), or installation a hydraulic tow hitches. Our conventional aircraft tow tractors can often be modified for use with other types or aircraft with the help of additional ballast weights. In the case of towbarless tractors adding additional aircraft types requires a software update and minor adjustment according to the vehicle type. For airfreight, pressure vessels are being classed as hazardous items and special precautions have to be taken. In particular, special packaging is required, and that can cost far more than the accumulator itself! This additional expense can be avoided by shipping the accumulator empty, i.e. prior to charging. FILL IT YOURSELF Order your new diaphragm accumulators unfilled (non-pressurized).
