These feature wide operating temperatures and fast operation combined with rapid response. 3 COMPRESSOR AND BRAKING SYSTEM CONTROLS Revolutionary new dual pressure switch that incorporates two fully adjustable switches both with independent set and re-set points. Customers benefit from reduced pipe work/installation time and they are an innovative evolution of the single switch which has been used in rail for many years. 4 COUPLING SYSTEMS Solutions for carriage coupling/uncoupling Norgren s special pneumatic cylinders offer high spring force combined with a high load bearing piston rod to ensure reliable operation. Solutions for this application can be engineered to integrate into existing designs. 5 STEP ACTUATORS AND CONTROLS Enabling easy access for passengers to and from trains through the use of pivoting, rotating or straight line actuation. The total weight of brass fittings is approximately 100kg, whereas, lightweight aluminium fittings would be around 40kg. A weight saving of approximately 60%. TRIED AND TESTED >> Able to withstand the harshest operating conditions, fittings are qualified to PED 97/23/EC and are tested to EN61373 for shock and vibration. Tested for operating temperatures from -45 C to +200 C.
